I remember a quote from a Barnsley fan just after VI took over. Said that in his 30 years of watching Barnsley VI produced the ‘craziest’ football he’d ever seen. he meant it was just full throttle gung-ho football. I think that 5 minutes was a taste of what might be to come.

He lacks a little bit of acceleration - if you can get his feet stopped you can run past him as a quick winger.

Very decent first half, Brittain has been excellent going forward for us.

If he had someone better than Hedges down that left side, we'd look even better.

While it's not the playoffs, if we somehow finish in the top 8 I'll be reasonably pleased with that as I fully expected us to land around 17th/18th the way we were going.

Big differences for me are Toth’s much quicker distribution, and to someone who is expecting it, plus Trav and Sonny getting more advanced in possession.

About 10 minutes of attacking, with 30 seconds of shite defending inbetween.

The rest of the game has been the same old nothing happening type stuff. Ohashi should have scored from another brilliant Brittain cross. Free header gone wide. And the same the other way but Toth saved.

Thought, Toth's looked good. Some tidy saves and good distribution.   Hopefully keeps it up. 

Feel like we lack that penetration out wide. Hedges, as much as I like him just lacks that extra bit of quality- he's like a solid 6 but you need that extra quality to frequently produce the goods...

Ohashi, as a lone striker, for me, doesn't possess the necessary attributes..   I think a few people have said it, but surely him playing off Gueye makes most sense..

Summer think we're going to need two new wingers to go alongside, Kargbo and Hedges..   A ball carrying centre midfielder in the mould of Rothwell (Good luck finding one of those- don't even see anyone in the Prem with those attributes) and another striker- a very good one to compliment the other two..

Realistically, it's going to be two or three loans and some obcsure freebies on super low wages.. 

If they want to fill Ewood, spend the money (which won't happen), play some exciting football and make people want to attend.. 

Fifteen years tells me not to bother. Mad to think we were a very well run, established Premier League club 15 years ago...

No sign next season is going to be any different..
