I'm flabbergasted

John Buckley, local, academy product, I'm sure he's a lovely lad.

Putting him on a plinth with the likes of Garner, Shearer, Dalglish. Clayton, Douglas and the rest, is brain-dead from this football club and makes a mockery of the whole thing. How would he make the cut of 'legends' at England's tenth most successful football club?

Could this anniversary season have been any more tinpot?

I don't like that at all, very glad we didn't end up putting our similar one out (even though there appeared to be a special run of one shirt that a random rovers fan on twitter managed to buy).

Ours is probably going to be released the day we get relegated in May, probably with Steve Kean and the Rao's faces embossed into the fabric or something.

Is this just a Macron thing then? Put out a white shirt with a Maltese cross as an anniversary edition, even though neither have any particular relevance for the Club concerned.

Perhaps they've got a bulk order of 10m lying about they need shut of.

My favourite thing in that announcement video is that the photo of the old team in black and white that they've used isn't even wearing the same shirt, they're in blue and white halves. Almost as if blue and white halves would've been a better choice for a 150th anniversary shirt 🙂

£80 for a polo shirt with a Macron logo stamped on it, £200 for it in a 'special box' presumably signed by Balaji Rao personally or something.
