Tidy on the ball, but quite small and slow. Think they'd really struggle against a Championship team with an athletic front line - that long ball seems to be on all the time.

Yes, quite different than the championship, can’t really tell if Elche are any good or not. I guess they must be if they are to have any hope of surviving in la liga

There's no way Elche know who he is, but they've been kicking him off the pitch in the first 20 minutes. 

Also that's poor refereeing - booking Ribeiro for moving the Elche player from standing over a prone Cantwell (that he'd just hacked down).

I've seen DeNeve take one corner and it was better than anything Cantwell has put in. His delivery is criminal.

We are not getting the footballing lesson Girona gave us when they came to Ewood before winning (or almost winning) La Liga. We did really well only to lose 2-3 that day but I would say we are shading this contest against Spanish top flight opponents.

I’m not watching it. Reading the thread it appears we’re the worst team in the world according to the usual suspects. I’m guessing that’s not the case?
