Why is Mowbray there?

Well, it's probably not for the excitement.

He's alongside a Rovers stalwart and ex-Chairman of the PFA, Gordon Taylor.

Neither of them look very interested. (or excited, for that matter)

Cantwell is absolutely wank

They got back really well to cover the slipped pass through to Kargbo - that was the best chance of the match though.

I personally think we should add more distance between Ohashi, Cantwell, Hedges and Kargbo - maybe that will work

Definitely never play a cross into the box.

It was and we didn’t have a shot or get a touch in the opposite box.

Am I the only on bored by this? Could do with a goal or at least a chance. Kargbo and Cantwell both being invisible. Only Ohashi this far that can keep his head high

Sadly it's going to be a really attritional season. No investment into the squad in 3 years - we'll look to out athlete and out enthuse teams. Very little quality in the final third.

It's hilarious that opposing defenders are literally allowed to ragdoll Ohashi, but when Gueye gives them a taste of their own medicine it's a foul.

Gueye is not on the pitch, so if he dishes it out it’s understandable if the ref blows

I think they are getting "Honor Caps" from Rovers as part of the 150 year anniversary.

Well from a "ensuring the wheels dont come off from a turbulent week" it's been a success.

But from a "look like a side that came 7th last year playing a newly promoted side" its been a failure.

Crowd looks really bad considering its first home league game.

Can we please sack Cantwell and his 30k off and sign 3 Swedish/Belgium plodders at 10k a week.  A fast one, a strong one and an angry one

We already have those: Kargbo, Alebiouso and Miller

Playing a new promoted side that have spent millions this season and will be right up there come end of the season.

let’s have a more realistic view.

First 45 mins of the season at home and not a shot on goal. Nice. We are in fact the only team in the division this afternoon to have zero shots so far.

Only positive is that Birmingham have been pretty shit as well. One of those games that would make somebody wonder why football is so popular.

Ref’s mates with Cantwell, but hates Ohashi.

Their CB was using Ohashi as a climbing frame at the end there.

Absolutely bonkers how little protection he gets.

Think id take Hedges off, move Ohashi on the right, put Gueye up top, and put Kargbo on the left. But... probably would make us defensively weaker, and I can see the sense in prioritising defence.

0-0 better than expected at half. No shots as expected. Still expect 0-3 by the final whistle. We don’t look like we will score before the festive season.

Cant see what all the hype is about tbh.

Looks like we will be more than happy with a point.
