It's about supporter behaviour but contains the following: Supporters should also be aware of the club’s bag policy when entering the stadium. To make Ewood Park safe for everyone, restrictions are in place on what you can bring in a bag into the stadium. Each supporter can only bring one small bag and it must not be bigger than A4 size. I know lots of supporters particularly in the family stand who take drinks and snacks in bags bigger than A4. For the life in me I can't see any logic behind a decision like this. Why don't they just say what the restrictions in the bag are. It's almost like we have appointed a 'Head of Pissing People Off' whose job it is is to annoy supporters. That's obviously why they're doing it to discourage fans from bringing in their own food and drinks and drive people towards the over-priced crap on the concourse. 2 Quote

At least its better than some clubs. Stockport refuse to let you take any food and drink into their ground. Their prices made ours look a real bargain! 2 Quote

A4 is a two dimensional size, so is there no limit as to how deep the bag is ? 1 1 Quote

RoversTilliDie Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Harry Leonard sold to Peterborough, for a £1,000,000. Somebody in the LT comments called Gestede a clown, we've had the best transfer window for a while at Ewood. Money in the pot with outgoing players, and some decent replacements brought in. I think the person who wrote it is the true clown. Well done Gestede under the circumstances. 1 Quote
lraC Posted August 29 Posted August 29 I suspect harry is another was stood up to Gestede and his treatment of Lesley Fielding, as he seemed to suffer the same fate as Buckley and Travis. 1 Quote

It would have to go some to be as bad as the Murphy/Etuhu window! Or Hodgson's spending spree in 98/99 for that matter (at least we got Matty Jansen alongside the rest of the dross). But yes, whilst I get there's an optimistic way of looking at this summer's dealings, I'd say there's only McLoughlin that you can hang your hat on as a reliable Championship level player (and even he could end up being a downgrade on what what we had last year). I don't say that as a criticism of any of the players or of Gestede even, but we've clearly gambled and it could easily backfire. 2 1 Quote

ElTwis Posted August 29 Posted August 29 This bag policy is absolutely outrageous if there's genuinely no wiggle room in it. I bring 3 kids and a rucksack containing reusable water bottles and some snacks, no way that fits in a4 size, are the club honestly saying that's not allowed! I've emailed to ask because it feels entirely cynical based around forcing me to spend more and, no doubt, stopping the Pasha Out sign coming in 5 Quote

The opposite with De Neve and Henriksson hasn't started too well either. A lot will depend I think on how Baradji does. It will be fairly disastrous if we replace our Club Captain and leader on the pitch without someone who's basically unavailable for selection. And I still think we need (a lot) more firepower. 2 Quote
