Pathetic decision from a gaggle of disgusting narcissistic cowards. We've already heard of some dark stuff going on behind the scenes, wouldn't be surprised if they're up to worse considering their want to get rid of any player who speaks up and now banning journalists...

Worse is the "fans" sticking up for the decision. Genuinely wish I could be as thick and blissfully ignorant.

Be interesting to see how Bayes and radio Lancs report this.

Losing access for live coverage for Radion Lancs would be a big blow for them, but banning the BBC would be a more high-profile risk for Rovers.

It looks like Cryer is not impressed.

What was the social media post that has since been deleted?

He had a back and forth with one of the ITK accounts that was deleted - around Travis wanting to leave.

Wonder if it was that? I thought the post got deleted cos it got quite bitter between the two of them.

The most stupid thing is - how do they expect this to go for them? Press will stick together and the club will come out of it looking awful there is literally no positive for them

This club is a shadow of the one I've been supporting for 40 years. How dare they suggest this is done to protect the best interest of the fans, I don't believe there is anyone left at Blackburn Rovers that actually cares about what we have become and it makes me genuinely sad that this is the legacy being passed on to the rapidly shrinking next generation of fans.

With the amateurish Pasha now in charge it is clear that he hasn't got the skills that the likes of Waggott had - he was a crafty old goat but at least he was crafty enough to recognise a need to keep the local media and fans quiet. The clown Pasha instead thinks he can silence criticism or questions through direct conflict. Highly unlikely to work out well for him unless the Telegraph back down and toe the line.

Yep, since Waggott left there has been a lot of own goals from the club which I think he would have nixed. He would have been pragmatic enough to shoot this idea down, one imagines. He's been around long enough to know that you keep the local press onside and don't sweat the small stuff. It's a lesson those in charge would do well to learn swiftly.

I just don't get what the catalyst is here. It's not like there's some kind of revolt going on in the stands at Ewood. The coalition has been quiet for a while now, although who knows if something is going on in the background there. There's been a few 'Pasha out' banners - have they really got to him so much that he's lashing out?

This might be a good thing. Surely the Telegraph can report what they like about the club now?

I would say doubtful considering the paper must rely heavily on Rovers to keep it afloat. They will do all they can to regain access and that will probably include making lots of concessions in future coverage.

Got to admire Henry Winter and his continued support of the Rovers fans:

He's honestly a shining light in a sea of journalistic wastewater; top man.

As for this, my first reaction was that it was the act of a couple of dictators who know that their time is almost up - hopefully this is the case.

It sounds as though it all stems from when Elliott gave a balanced view on the Travis situation - including some direct information clearly from either Travis himself, or his agent.

Seems certain people at the club don't take kindly to...you know...the truth being spoken.

You can say a lot on how the club has been run the last 15 years, but when you think it’s not possible to sink any lower, it comes to this. Absolutely shocking!

We can not longer talk about about incompetence or poor decision-making. This is serious and we are seeing our club being shut down refusing to answering anything that can be viewed as critical or not aligned with their story. Again, just shocking!

Unbelievable, we really do have the most toxic hierarchy here.

Do they ban the fans jury too, next time one questions depth at centre half. Are they pulled out of the stands and summarily detained in the cells?

This club. My God.

I know, we're turning into that person at everyone's workplace, you know the one, the one that loves a bit of drama and can't get through the week without having a dilemma 🤣

Once is happenstance, twice is a coincidence, three times is enemy action.
