It will be similar to the Tavares deal, where the reported fee on €3.5M for Jorgensen will be if he hits every single add on, he scores a truckload of goals, and we win promotion 

'the initial fee will be circa €1.5M

Jackson's beyond useless in general. I hardly think getting a transfer rumour wrong is the worst thing he's ever done. I was a lot more irritated by his puff pieces on new contracts (edit) and Hedges earlier on today.

Either that, or the club are trying to flush out a leak

Different names given to different members of staff, and then whichever name pops up in the press/twitter etc informs you of who the leak is

If someone gets sacked from Rovers in he next week, they may have been a leak

Another possibility is RoversXtra posted the Donnum story on twitter at pretty much exactly the same time as Jackson (both at 6pm last night according to timestamps on their twitter posts).  So maybe Jackson got caught copying his homework? (or vice versa, but if Jackson was the one being copied, I cannot see a reason as to why he deleted his story)

Jorgensen is a top player at this level. Brentford did well and had great success with Danish players..hope he do well for us.. Rovers have done well to keep this under wraps.

It is plausible both were fed dud information to possibly reel in a mole? If not then it’s extremely poor journalism

He does not have a choice.  he, his agent, & both clubs already signed the contract which became legally binding when his loan with us started

The only party who can now back out is Rovers, by not activating the purchase option.  Which if it is the rumoured £1.5M (ish), they would be mad to not trigger it

Same applies to TGH, although in his case, the club would be mad to trigger the option

Rovers are known for their scrupulous, impeccable handling of paperwork regarding players that are coming in through the door... 😁

Yea I'd like to see Moussa develop here I think there's alot more to see from him. Having the right players around could really spark things for him

Perhaps AaB were due some instalments when Glimt face City in the CL, who knows. Could be a total package of €3.5m, but I can't see us pay too much at first.

 

Everyone's waiting for Elliott to wake up and follow up on the Dønnum news. That transfer doesn't make too much sense at the moment, considering there's a world cup coming up and he's playing regularly (and well) for Toulouse.

If the paperwork was wrong we’d already know because the EFL would’ve rejected it in the summer.

Indeed, although in previous cases, this has resulted in the initial loans not completing as the EFL/FIFA/etc have stopped them from happening after checking the paperwork

As his loan completed and he has played for us (unlike O'Brien, Brierley, McGuire), it is safe to assume everything is in order

Not that I have any faith in Rovers not being inept, just that someone has checked their homework
