Anyone know when tickets are released to general public? Don’t have a season ticket this year - I’ve tried to get a ticket as it doesn’t say there’s any restrictions and it shows the map and a load of seats available but won’t let me buy one. Anyone any ideas?

I suspect we'll get beaten pretty comfortably here.

We've had our 3 wins in a row, time for 6 losses on the bounce.

Yea not carrying any confidence here. The ones we wanted to win aren't happening. Derby, Preston and the Ipswich replay.

2-0 Preston, easiest 3 points they will get this season.

We just won't be up for the battle as they will be in our faces from the 1st minute.

The 'hungry one' will be absent

If we can get some players back it's the perfect game for the counter attacking style....

As usual though the piss weak soft underbelly of not only the team but the club i general will dictate a physical aggressive team finds our weaknesses quickly.

WHEN is the club going to build a side with some power and muscle down the spine of the side ????

Because we've never had that since king rat took over and it's a large part of the reason we've spent over a decade going nowhere.

Will be a tough game this one. Hopefully cantwell is back for this one otherwise it’s pretty much wraps.

Cantwell didn't play in any of the recent wins did he?

What's the injury situation here? My guess...

Toth - out

Wharton - out

Kargbo - out

Carter - back?

Cantwell - back?

Baradji - no idea

With Cantwell if hes back I wouldnt be that adverse to giving him a go up top alongside a striker. We are running the two we've got into the ground, and Cantwell has a bit of physicality this season. Something like

                         Pears

          Miller.     Carter.    McLoughlin

Alebiouso.    TGH.   Tronstad.     Hedges

                          Mori

            Ohashi.       Cantwell

Means we at least have a recognised striker on the bench which i think we need to close games out.

Cantwell has now been out for 5 weeks and counting "after taking a kick on the knee against Stoke City on October 4".  Extract from Jackson's LT article below refers.  IMO, it's taking a long time to recover from a "kick on the knee".  Ismael's comments are both interesting and worrying.  I have no confidence at all in our medical team and if I was Cantwell, I'd be asking to see a top notch orthopaedic surgeon.

Cantwell has missed Rovers' last six games after taking a kick on the knee against Stoke City on October 4. Despite the expectation that he would return quickly, his absence has continued to extend.

Ismael was coy on whether he would be available for Preston North End after multiple setbacks. Though there's still hope he could be, he will need to prove he's able to train consistently during this period.

“Toddy, we will see. At the minute, it’s always a setback," he said.

"He is on the pitch and feels good. The next day it’s not good, another day off. He is not getting any consistency in his training.

As long as he doesn’t have full week of training, it’s difficult to be optimistic for the game. We have two weeks.

"I hope next week he gets some consistency to train fully. If that’s the case, he will be available for Preston.”

As for the match itself, think it will be men against boys and we'll come away with our tail between our legs and this will be game 2 of a Mowbray style death spiral.

Nailed on home win this.

They're doing well, have been very solid at Deepdale and will be typical Preston - up for it, physical, direct, organised and all round horrible.

We will be nice and have lots of possession but get nowhere with it.

Another downside to the 'project' of Gestede is some of these foreign signings won't know what has hit them in a Lancashire derby there.

People who would have served us very well in this from last season - Batth, Weimann, Travis, Wharton - not here to be called upon.

We have been good away. Tend to control the game and with Sonny back in the side, that will help drastically. Would love to see another Bristol esc performance but of course finishing our chances like we did against hull city.

We generally havent been very good with Tronstad in the side either this season.

Getting Carter back in some sort of reasonable condition will be key to any chances of getting a result I feel.

Worrying comments from Ismael about Cantwell. A "kick on the knee" should have been a minor issue and a short recovery time. Instead it's dragging on interminably. If he's OK one day and not the next it sounds to me as though either

a) They havent diagnosed the injury correctly

or

b) Cantwell is swinging the lead until he can get a move in January.

Either way I'd be slightly surprised if we see him in a Rovers shirt again. It'd be rather embarrassing if we lose two captains inside 6 months.

Bit like head coaches.

Back to the game if we're going to get a result, we'll also need to see a lot more from Gudjohnssen at Deepdale, he was pathetic against Derby. Even if he's not scoring he needs to show up and be available.

Which weren't as bad under other managers apart from Mowbray.

Maybe not as bad, but there has been a consistent pattern of us faltering in the second half of the season under numerous managers because of the owners.

If there's any hint of a death spiral from Christmas onwards this season we're sunk. We havent got the points in the bank to get away with it.

Have to hope we can keep chugging away at an average of just over a point a game and claw our way to safety that way.

Most likely to be (a). Just like Baradji it'll take them 8 weeks before they get a proper diagnosis.

Yeah Sonny hasn’t hit the levels like he did last season. But before his suspension them three wins in a row he played well, particularly against Leicester and Bristol. Controls tempo extremely well. His head is back home now so won’t be the same like last year.
