Now the Coalition has called a boycott. We will win. Thats always how it goes (protests only seem to lead to better results twitter happy clappers).

2-0 Rovers

As is tradition we now enter a spell of surprising form.  All culminating in a game we should win, that would drastically improve our position - which we go onto lose embarrassingly.

Rovers 1 - 1 Millwall. Gudjohnsen with the goal.

Predicted team:

                              Pears

               Miller   McLoughlin   Pratt

Hedges   Tronstad   Baradji   Morishita

                          Cantwell

               Ohashi      Gudjohnsen

If Hedges still out then I guess swap in Gardner-Hickman for him.

You know full well you predicted that for this season but never mind. No shame in admitting you were completely wrong.

Yes I am missing Eustace strangely enough because he left us in 6th or 7th and the current apology for a Head Coach has us in 20th.

You're calling that one early, 5 points behind with a game in hand, and their squad full of "rubber dinghy men".

Look at Eustace Derby, they have a alot of strikers, Brereton, Brewster, Agyemang, Morris, Salvesen, Weimann, Jackson, Blakett Taylor, we can only muster one attacking sub in Gueye..terrible depth and squad recruitment....

Has anyone checked the forecast for Saturday? Hopefully not raining so we can get a game in.

I'd overlooked this was another one of those needless 12:30pm kick offs so that will put another dent in the attendance and atmosphere.

No need to put a dent, in the attendance. we will be lucky if 5,000 turn up. Theres a planned total boycott, of the Watford game.

How about a couple of players from Witton Park, on a Sunday. They'd perform better than these losers.

In our 150th anniversary year, we have one of the worst teams for decades, and Manager to go with it. While Ismael remains in the dugout, I can only see league 1 approaching, in our celebration year.

Last season, we played some decent football, and beat Millwall 4-1 at Ewood. On Saturday I can see the scoreline being reversed. Oh the good old days, last Season when we had a team, good enough for the Championship.

if PNE had Ismeal they'd be towards the bottom end.

If PNE had Ismael, they'd be playing Accrington Stanley in league 2. Unfortunately we've got him.🫣

We will win this. We played last season and won 4-1 which was our best performance under Ismael last season.

I would change to 4-2-3-1 personally but I dont expect Ismael to do so. Expect either TGH or Morishita at right wing back. Hopefully Toth and Hedges will be back for this

Last season we had a decent side, this season we have a crap one.

Portsmouth and Oxford have tough away games on Saturday so at least we won't be in the bottom 3 on Christmas day i suppose.

Brittain, Hyam, Batth, Travis and Dolan also all started.

Now look at the current team and its not comparable. Look at the state of the defence now for a start.

Part of me thinks we should drop the back 3. It worked for 3 games but it's not really working out too well overall. We concede some really, really poor goals and we still aren't scoring enough. Now that Alebiosu is missing, we have no replacement on that right hand side. Hedges might not be back either.

As VI seems to be under the delusion that we'll be quick off the blocks in the January window (queue canned laughter), it seems the back 3 is here to stay.

--------------------Toth

--------Miller----McLoughlin---Pratt

Hedges-------------------------------Ribeiro

------------Tronstad---Baradji

-----------------Cantwell

-----------Ohashi-----Gudjohnsen

The unbalanced squad for the system we play means that we need to drop either Mori or Cantwell but there are enough games coming up for rotation, so give Cantwell the nod.

Two of the goalscorers on that day are no longer at the club.

5 of the starting 11 are no longer at the club. 3 of which were the back 4.

I admire your optimism but saying that we will win this and using last seasons result as the reason is a hell of a reach.

Millwall have been a bit hit and miss recently, which gives me some hope.

Absolutely chalk and cheese between that team and the one we're likely to field at the weekend.

Solid from keeper to midfield.

And you can see how much the quality has reduced, we would be crying out for a replacement winger on that right hand side but now Hedges is one of our most important players.
