Boycott Or Not?

The boycott really started 13 to 14 years ago. We lost 10,000 supporters over 2 or 3 seasons. 

Unfortunately however we couldn't truly unite as a fan base as 50% of our supporters were ecstatic Allardyce was sacked. And were too gormless to see what would follow. 

Todays boycott has been mentioned and newsworthy for weeks. It's created discussion across many fan forums and forced press releases from the club.

Whilst its too litle too late, I'm very pleased some are still striving for change. I despair at the fans who think sitting in silence in ever decreasing numbers at Ewood is actually helping.

Our owners are as thick as chicken shit. Its remarkable how badly they have managed the club. One disastrous decision after another.

Wouldn't it be something if no one attended?

Wait till the numbers come out after an FOI request is returned. 

From what I can see on telly and pictures on social media, it's less than the recent midweek league game ( home fans that is, away fans look more numerous)

My estimate:

About 1k Watford max

Riverside 1k - 1.5k

Blackburn end 2.5k

Jack walker 3-3.5k

Total - 7-8k. Probably 8k.

No boycott your looking at around 10-11k?

Couple of thousand missing.

Seems about right so people crying it hasn't worked are getting upset over nothing, there'd normally be 11/12k home fans for this.

Agreed. From the pictures posted the "real" attendance looks about 6-7k at an absolute stretch.

All I'll say is that if the Club anti/boycotters are reduced to crowing about attendances like that - we really are finished.

I did not see an immediate response coming given we typically can’t score in a brothel. 

Let’s hope this inspires something - I’m still far from confident though.

Set piece coach was a great investment but lets be honest Ismael is swapping the defence around every week it's impossible to form a unit.

Of course his answer will be throw De Neve on.

The best presence in the defence was Pratt but of course he's dropped him.

He's definitely a project signing they are putting minutes into for the sake of it.

My guess is he's one of the newbies who has a low or no appearance bonus.

Personally think it's been a success we've highlighted the owners being terrible and ran by complete incompetence.

Personally still don't understand the reason people will have attended.

Didn't need to go watch Rovers could have just gone to a pub and that would have been the same social experience.

Personally I'm a bit gutted about the boycott, I don't think it's sufficient enough. Great that it has been mentioned in the media, but everyone except Rovers fans will have forgotten by Monday.

Not enough have stayed away, I think the arseholes running the club are going to claim a moral victory and vote of confidence.

Today's attendance is probably what we're going to be seeing on average next season though

That's why it is important that he coalition continue to put plans into action on a regular basis, otherwise yes, it will just fizzle out.

Absolutely. It's only a starting point or should be.

Im a bit worried by the apparent lack of funding though.
