  1. Because it's a forum where people can put forward their own ideas?
  2. Our crowd didn't pay the £10m you mentioned either. Venky's did. I think Mowbray has already said there is money to spend in January.
  3. He's exposed out wide though and his lack of pace IMO would be exploited.
  4. Mowbray has done a wonderful job of galvanising the team and the fans. A new Senior Leadership Team has just been announced which most people seem happy with. The owners continue to pump money into the club. The club was a shell. It now appears to be a fully functioning entity, albeit one heavily in debt to owners who so far have been wilfully ignorant. More than anything though I have a lot of respect for those that have stuck by the club and continue to watch Rovers at Ewood.
  5. Yes, you spelt 'jury's' wrong. Agree on Collins. He was excellent in the air. Judge looked like he was lacking a bit of sharpness.
  6. Imagine how you'd feel if it was 4 posts of nothing.
  7. Yep, someone claiming to be ITK said after the failed WBA Dack bid that he would instead be sold in Jan if someone made a bid and we weren't in the Top 10. If we were in the top 10 Mogga would have a transfer budget to make a crack a the top 6...or words to that effect.
  8. Yes, I'm sick of him making useful contributions like yesterday's pass of the season and the ball for Dack's goal at Newcastle. He's just shit....
  9. He's been doing it 3 years. I'd suggest the facts don't back up your argument.
  10. Same with his goal at home to Wigan lad season. It's frustrating that he's shoved on the left where he is mostly ineffective.
  11. Agreed we don't make the most of AA's pace. I don't think it was a coincidence that he looked better on the right, after he spent the first 45 mins losing the ball on the left like he does most weeks. When you're that quick you shouldn't be having to switch back on to your good foot all the time and losing momentum. Just put the ball between the left centre half and left back and let him run on to it. It's the obvious things that make me question Mowbray at times.
  12. We tend to struggle against teams that sit back because we aren't a very creative side. We do better against the teams with quality because we can get in their faces and knock them off their stride. I'd imagine Mowbray is wary of changing that dynamic because it's served us well so far this season. If we went out and tried to out-football teams every week (like Coyle did, in his naivety) then I doubt we'd be sat on the edge of the play-offs.
  13. I see PNE's new lower league signings (Godley and Crème Stockley and Potts) both scored yesterday at a QPR side that rarely concede. There be gold in them there leagues, like we found with Dack.
  14. Who/What do you think would destroy him? Maybe vastly overpaying for an average talent and putting a huge burden on his shoulders?
  15. I think you've covered all bases there. I'd imagine there has to be a budget though, and I'd imagine Mowbray has no choice but to work within it. Not sure what point you're making?
  16. You may want to aim your questions at the people who desperately splurged £7m on BB. Indeed.
  17. London-born - youth player at Chelsea
  18. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-6611253/Blackburn-agree-deal-sign-18-year-old-Louie-Annesley-Gibraltar-Lincoln-Red-Imps.html
  19. Good post. Doggy's going to have a re-think
  20. A good win after a dire 1st half. We sat far too deep in the first 45 mins. We still had 2 or 3 good chances mind. Bit more tempo 2nd half but again it took a set-piece/penalty to win the points. We need to improve as an attacking unit. AA going to the right won us the game in the end. He's lightning quick and he's far more comfortable wide right. I remember him having a stormer against Wigan last season on the right. Hopefully Mowbray will use him where he is most effective from now on. Travis again was very good. He glides round the pitch and always has time on the ball - the sign of a quality player. Rodwell was good, although he didn't come under much pressure. Rothwell looked sharp and he's less of a liability out wide where if he loses the ball it isn't critical. He's obviously talented if a bit naïve. Feed the Nutt. BB would have missed that? What a pass from Bennett! Ipswich were very Lambert. Quick to close down, organised, and absolutely no attacking threat whatsoever. Collins was fantastic for Ipswich.
  21. So why, after 3 years of filming, did the head steward state 'safeguarding' was one of the reasons for the ban? Or if you prefer - bloody evil Rovers fans pointing out facts 'n' stuff.
  22. I'll jump in the River Darwen bollock naked if that ever happens* *not on a cold day. I need all the help I can get
  23. A nice gesture from Lambert. https://www.eadt.co.uk/sport/lambert-to-pay-for-town-fans-travel-to-blackburn-1-5858328 Also good to see him putting pressure on the chairman to reduce ticket prices. I'm looking forward to Tony 'man of the people' Mowbray doing the same.?
  24. Big chance to move up a few places today as a few of the teams above us play each other, and Brum lost last night. The top 6 look to have a relatively easy weekend.
