  1. Also, did anyone notice Nigel Pearson pissing himself laughing every time the camera was on him? He must've thought "my god, it really is this easy to play against- just let them have the ball, they'll give us a few chances eventually"
  2. Ironically, although I'm sure that's what he meant, there's a double negative in that quote which makes it say exactly the opposite! Might be a mis-quote but it sounds perfectly like more Mowbray BS to me. The guy can't even put together a coherent sentence! What chance have the players got! "Now what we don't need to do lads is not get the ball into the box too few times so that they don't know what's not going to happen next. Ok?" 🤯
  3. Yes, both. Obviously iFollow if you want HD and replays, 'free' if you've bought your ST, £10 otherwise. Red button if you don't mind SD and no replays and don't want to pay your hard earned tenner to watch another defeat. My favourite website, by the way, for checking out literally any football available on the box on all major platforms: https://www.live-footballontv.com/
  4. Or even if they do decide a change is needed, this is far too late for the new guy to affect anything until Christmas. Sacked in July, new guy in some time in August (probably just before the season starts) from a reduced pool of decent managers, no pre-season, only a month to get any signings done without being able to assess what he needs first, so best case is he addresses some of the issues in Jan. Reality is it's another season wasted. Time for change is now*, as many other clubs are realising. *time for change was actually a couple of years ago.
  5. Shirley & Company - Shame, Shame, Shame
  6. Mac Band - Roses Are Red
  7. I spotted that at the time. To think he got booked for telling the truth!
  8. Just feel sick tbh. Actually don't care about the result. It all seems so avoidable with better management. From the pitch to Mowbray being desperate for results. You've also got to wonder what advice our so called medical staff have been giving recently. If they're saying certain players need more rest then why has this been ignored, if they're not, then why not given the amount of recurring injuries we're getting!
  9. Nicky Reid used to put more effort in running out of the tunnel than most of our lot do in 90 mins! Only bloke I've ever seen sprint out at full pelt. Loved those days.
  10. Just finished 'Unbelievable' on Netflix which is based on true events of a rape case in the US. I thought it was excellent & I think I went through every emotion possible watching it, from anger, astonishment, joy, to almost being in tears at one point! (only almost - I'm a hard northerner don't you know!) It's an 8 part mini-series so isn't too much of a chore either. Worth a watch.

  12. ..........and replays during a break in play rather than immediately after the action meaning you miss half the stuff - particularly corners whilst you're watching a replay of why the corner was given! Winds me up. Anyway, on to the game, I have a funny feeling we'll win this one - provided Mowbray doesn't decide to tinker too much - and we'll all be thinking about what could've been. Meanwhile, all it succeeds in doing is prolonging Tony's stay. I'll go for a 2-1, Dolan & Dack on the scoresheet for us, Ivan Toney for them obviously.
  13. Apologies for going off topic. I actually thought you were on the wind up with that one - it sounded like my University days, definitely if you include his middle name! But no, the guy does exist. Now that is a name! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rod_Fanni
  14. I'm not getting over excited just yet as it's only been a couple of good games, however, those last two appearances have been very much improved. Saturday, I thought we were on for another one of "those" performances as he misplaced numerous passes, however, later on in the 1st half and in the 2nd, something just seemed to click and we got a decent performance from him. On Tuesday he carried this on and even took it up a few notches, putting in a very impressive performance and, for me, it was between him & Trybull for MotM. I've been one who's criticised him in the past, but also followed that up with "yet" or "at the moment" and "I hope he proves me wrong". Looks like I might be proved wrong. I'm certainly not one for knocking one of our own products just for the sake of it. I'm a Rover, why would I not want to see one of our lads turn out to be a cracker? Keep this up John & I certainly won't mind tucking into a decent sized slice of humble pie - I might even get a bit of custard to go with it!
  15. Buckley looking good. Trybull class tonight!
  16. I'm in serious danger of losing my shit here with this clown of a ref!
  17. Right from letting them wear that kit! Are players/managers allowed to request they change if it's a problem btw? Even at HT? This guy is rivaling Trevor Kettle for the worst ref I've ever seen at Ewood. I can't enjoy watching the game for being constantly wound up!
  18. Somebody shoot this fucking ref!!!!
  19. I actually think that was an issue with the shirt clash. There's been a few of those 'blind' passes gone straight to their player. Anyway. 1-0. Keep it up lads!
  20. This kit clash is horrific! Nearly as bad as Millwall earlier in the season! Stonewall pen & red card that too!
