Cross the ball to a very tall lad who thumps a header home. Football can be so simple. Mind you the SU defence was AWOL

Nice tribute in the LT https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/17871181.rovers-39-39-crowd-pleasing-39-winger-mike-ferguson-dies-aged-76/ Lovely 60s photo of Fergie Fergie in a team-talk with Jack Marshall Just noticed the 'Golden Mike Triangle' in this photo. -

I saw that forward line in my first ever live game at Ewood, in what is reputed to be the best ever Rovers performance, v the mighty Spurs. I think it indeed was a top lineup with goals and assists from all across the line. -
This has legs. Hopefully, it brings down the amateurs at the EFL. Jevans is no better than Harvey or Lenaghan before. Amateurs and chancers.
-
Happier more with their contracts, Mulgrew included. They must love Mowbray to bits.
-
Yes, all down to Mowbray. No player involvement.
-
I've just woke up and the first NewNow link I saw was that BHA showed this game live and for free via their website, WTF do we not do that for U23 games?
-
An IST or ISM for everything these days. Now that IS sad. By the way, Mowbray is only 55 years old, younger than Jose for example, it's just that he cames across as past it.

Brilliant on his day and with an 'attitude' He's in my top 10 'likes' of Rovers players in my time. I will never forget the bucket kit at Ewood in the loss to Coventry -
Sad, sad news https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2019/august/mike-ferguson-09.03.43---27.08.19/ RIP Mike, one of my childhood heroes

There should be some, actually loads, of classic stuff around in the MB Archives, notorious copy paster often using this MB as a source
-
He's still just 18 FFS, and what senior football did he play at what level.
-
According to Transfermkt this season 2 appearances; 1 goal, 1 assist
-
Mowbray does the complete opposite and takes every opportunity to get his message across, apparently to a largely receptive audience.
-
OK I found this online which is allegedly the final paragrap[h of a most recent letter from the EFL to Bury
-
Can anyone publish this letter on here?
-
He has done that throughout his career. Even in the interview about his red card he successfully deflected his Ballboy lecture by criticising the Refs performance knowing that would get a ready audience.
-
Proof? Link?

It's encouraging that at least on here some can see through the facade that Mowbray has carefully built up over the years. Mentioning his human values, integrity etc in almost every interview he does is deliberate and quite simple brainwashing of the susceptible. Cynical most certainly after a lifetime in sales and marketing and meeting chancers of every description.
-
With our defence we do things on the cheap, indeed as cheaply as possible. Why? that is the question if a promotion is on anyone's agenda apart from the fans.
-
Blame the player, blame anything or anyone apart from Mowbray, who is an experienced practitioner in the blame game. Quite how Chapman can really prove anything without first-team exposure in realtime match conditions is beyond me. Meanwhile, lack of development is solely down to the player, and the fans who clamoured for him to be signed. A lovely job where you can just pass the buck whenever it suits,
-
I thought we had unearthed a gem. With all the alleged interest from Top 6 PL Clubs for it to end so soon is disappointing. It will be interesting to see how the young lads career develops.
-
Fisher is rightly sent on loan to gain match/league experience. Leutwiler has become a proven failure based on his actual performance in games and it looks like Mowbray now agrees, Bringing in a youngish, cheap but experienced, albeit at a lower level. keeper as a backup makes a lot of sense. As you say its basic squad management.
-
Mowbray just can't stop with the drivel.
