I really don’t know what you mean. Danny Graham was a good championship striker when he was at rovers but was significantly better than Gallagher in my eyes. Therefore if you think Gallagher is average championship quality then Graham must be levels above, hence champions league quality. Why does that opinion, which I’m guessing most people agree with entirely, and even you probably agree with somewhat, mean that’s why I clearly don’t work in football?
 -
So because I think Danny Graham was significantly better than Sam Gallagher that’s why I don’t work in football? Yeah all right Gav.
 -
He has only started back to back league games once this season, and that’s the last two games once George Hirst has left. It’s hardly like JDT is starting him week in week out. The reason JDT can’t stick with either Gally or Vale, and why we desperately pursued a striker in January is because neither have been good enough to hold the spot down

Leicester’s home tickets for this game are £20 season ticket holders / £25 everybody else.
 -
If he’s mid table championship Danny Graham must have been champions league.

I’m not asking you to change your opinion. I’m just stating mine. And yes Dack is a more experienced player. But the fact is if Vale was better with his movement and anticipation he would get those chances that he isn’t getting. Its partly his fault he isn’t getting chances, because he isn’t good enough at the moment.
 -
And let’s be honest it’s absolute basic play.
 -
Why do all the chances fall to Dack and not Vale? If it’s just about finishing ability we might as well get Lee Trundle out of retirement.
 -
They’ll get about 6000 with the usual extreme front and side segregation if it’s on its original date. If it’s midweek then, due to it no longer being a bubble, I reckon the police would reduce that allocation.
 -
I’ve not been impressed with Vale but I’m not writing him off completely. However strikers positioning and instinct is a huge factor in their ability. Dack has started scoring in the last few games and also had the two best chances of the game for rovers against Birmingham. It’s not luck that those chances are coming to Dack, it’s because he has an instinct to get into the right positions. Its telling how we create for him, but not for Vale.

You’d be surprised how much time some people need when they’ve got quite a few jobs to complete and a strict deadline to hit. 😉

I’ll be in Sheffield with work till 5pm Monday. That means I’ve got to get back, drop some colleagues off in Chorley, call in my mums, go home, grab something to eat then get to Ewood. Like most midweek games for me it’s a ball ache. I accept a number of midweek games each season but moving games from the weekend to Friday and Monday is just annoying. I get it’s not the clubs fault, but still I’ll probably end up missing a game Monday which I’ve paid for by a season ticket because they’ve moved it midweek.

I’m judging JDT after the World Cup break, and Broughton after the January transfer window closes, like you advised us all to do. I like both of them as people on the surface, but JDT is now coming up short on the pitch and GB has spectacularly failed his first big test.

I’ve just checked his career stats and noticed we did sign him for a full season and a half. Bloody hell. That one has slipped my mind completely.

Shaping The Reaction to Neil Etheridge on Tuesday…
Hasta replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Rovers released a statement on it yesterday on their website. As much as I’m putting the boot into the club this week, it’s probably not their fault the BBC doesn’t quote them. -
So fantastic that Huddersfield have decided they don’t need him for a relegation fight. Good set piece delivery means nothing if you can take advantage of it, and Giles came with the same dead ball set piece reputation and I don’t recall much from him. All I’m saying is he’s not some great coup. He’s a cast off from one of our divisional rivals who may prove decent.
 -
People keep saying this yet Huddersfield fans are saying he’s been shite for them most of this season and generally aren’t bothered he’s left them despite being in a big relegation scrap. He obviously had something about him last season, but I hardly feel it’s some huge upgrade on the lads who have played out wide so far. I’m happy to see if he proves me wrong.

If only Kaminsky hadn’t spilled that equaliser into the net last Saturday. 🙈

Why do we need 300million in the short term?
 -
This shit happens because the previous protests were ignored, and you’ll not get anywhere near that size or attention of protest again as a large portion of the disgruntled have walked away.
 -
Those are the reasons we’ve leaked but there will be more too it I’m sure. Otherwise that would be absolutely shocking by the EFL. Plus Nixon talks shite and I’m disappointed the normally interesting front page articles are now the tubby tabloidman’s scribbling.
 -
Although basically saying “we don’t expect to win the appeal’ wasn’t very clever either. Came across to me as saying to the fans and the other parties “this is not going to happen” whilst making sure they can say “we’ve done all we can”.

If you believe all the leaks we have, Rovers didn't realise that O Briens contract had to be agreed if he signed in the summer before registering the decision. This meant that legal advisors had to be brought in late in the day. This led to the deadline being missed. Now I don't believe anyone forgot to send off a document. I think the amount of stuff they had to sort was at a late stage was too much and they ended up submitting it late. Now if a major stumbling block came up that caused a chance of a massively important deadline being missed on a potentially multi-million pound deal, if I was the CEO I'd want to be hands on.
