I just posted on a Coventry forum to quite civilly ask for their opinion and for a quick summary of what happened in in their situation. I got one reply but within a minute the thread was deleted. I presume the mods thought it was going to be either too divisive or legally dodgy. edit - the thread has been hidden pending approval.

Venkys have no idea what is happening in Blackburn or what the best thing for the football club is. Therefore the idea And proposed benefits must have come from here A key question is will people close to the club, either currently or previously, benefit personally financially from this. The similaraities to the Coventry situation are alarming. Venkys bought a club (cheaply) with several a major assets. One of them, despite it being condition of the sale it not be sold off for non-sporting usage, is about to be lost from the club forever, unavailable to be utilised by whoever owns us going forward.

Not sure on what formation we are planning on anymore. I think Mowbray and Venus will be looking to go 2 up 2 down with a few detatched out wide.

Did you know that "THE NAME TONY MOWBRAY" is an anagram of "NO WAY TO THE MR NYAMBE" It's correct. Check it. Coincidence? I think not.

The thing on Nyambe is we have no alternative who is potentially as good, and not picking him last night meant that we were exposed down the right side of our defence. Most of their breaks, including the two excellent blocks that Lenihen put in, came from that area of the pitch. I saw the logic in bringing the two loanee defenders in as a quick fix as we were short of numbers at the back, but to force one of our own players out of the squad to play an unproven loanee seemed odd, and his performance showed it up as odd.

Don't get me wrong it was terrible. But as I said to my mate this morning, was it any worse than the first half against Middlesborough a few weeks ago? The difference in that game was a good last 20 minutes of the second half and a goal that disguised that abysmal first half performance. As did kicking their lad in the eye.

I agree with a lot of what you have posted post-match Chaddy although I am going to go off topic and pick you up on this. If Arstrong's girlfriend has her profile set to public and is happy to comment to the general public on her husbands footballing performance, then I'm pretty sure it's "appropriate" for that comment to be repeated on a football message board.

Eh? Belittle means to dismiss someone or something as unimportant. I wasn't saying everyone wanting Mowbray out but no-one giving an opinion on who should replace him is unimportant. I was saying that clearly that is not what is happening as we have a full thread on who should replace him.

I didn't highlight it as I wasn't responding to anything you said about people belittling other posters. You made a point in your post which was clearly untrue and I was just pointing this out.

Yep. Souness learnt so about what was wrong with our squad in the 2 months at the end of the season when he took over it enabled him to know what was required in the summer. The best time we could possibly change manager is in the next few weeks.

Mowbray and others will have some comments about the pitch but the fact is whilst we've been hoofing it out of play Barnlsley have passed and played through us this second half. Its not just 3 losses on the trot. It's 3 abject performances on the trot as well.

A challenge doomed for failure thanks to poor decision making by those in charge and incredibly poor conditions. But enough about the Barnsley game...

The back 5 could shore us up a bit but we could end up all over the shop here. 18/1 Barnsley score in each half and 3+ corners each half looks interesting.
