  1. I am...busy assembling my pitchforks ... If this window really does end in another abject failure, I am going to be asking myself whether I just accept it and crawl down to Ewood to continue the pretence that we have a football club....
  2. Floats like a butterfly, stings like a moth...ibaa?
  3. Good message and good strategy. The trouble is I suspect that others will be seeking to utilise this for their own agenda. i.e. the Brum manager and players to unite their team and fans against "the enemy". I think that was partly what was going on on Saturday after the equaliser. No place for racism end of. However, given that this is our message board, is all as it seems here ? Is it safe to wonder about overreaction and a deliberate, tactical use of the "racism card.
  4. Well, it's the last time I will be listening for a while..
  5. Uncomfortable. Radio Lancs laughing at us!

  13. In my own ever so 'umble opinion..Raya, as a young keeper, certainly made a number of crucial howlers-ones that really cost us- and there were times-e.g. Brentford away, when it left me absolutely sick. However, I think the professionals at the club should have seen his potential. At any rate, the 'keepers, who replaced him were worse than shite.......until TK! Raya certainly did not wish to sign a new contract. I don't know whether this was because he thought there were better opportunities or whether he felt aggrieved at the way he was handled here. It does rankle that a player that was developed at Rovers over so many years should make such a huge profit for another club. I am hoping that the sell -on clause is significant and that alongside that payment for Brentford's promotion, it will net Rovers at least £10 million.
  14. Suspending my disbelief, maybe Pears and a centre half are going out to generate income?
  15. OMG...I can hear him saying it! Could someone from The Trust drill these three words into his skull? Self-fulfilling prophesy. You could be forgiven for thinking it was a deliberate strategy to run down the club... Get out of our club!
  16. Awful to read this and it resonates with my own feelings of loss. If the owners are not even going to try to get success, too many supporters will conclude that there is no point in Blackburn Rovers, as a football club anymore. If the function of their ownership is merely to show a "financially credible"way of losing money, we would have seen a long line of sub standard appointments to key posts. And, indeed, we have. How long can we be strung along and...well... gaslit?
  17. "But what is success for Blackburn Rovers?"-Greg Broughton.. " There's no success like failure" Bob Dylan..
  18. To continue, the Venky's baby analogy, neglect is the ongoing failure to meet the child's basic needs. If only there were a football NSPCC!
  19. No hope of resurrection, while they remain....
