  1. Leave some vinegar for my sponge after the Turf Moor fixture!
  2. Yeah. And in reality, most of the winning performances have been less than overwhelming.
  3. 8 minutes is inexcusable from the manager-especially after so little urgency or intent. Complete no-show...
  4. He did look absolutely knackered at the end of the game and I worry about the lack of recovery time. Not sure who/how we play without him though. Nevertheless, his absence will be the consequence, should his tiredness lead to injury. Who'd be a manager?
  5. Actually, I always remember singing it with irony-when we were deep in relegation trouble and somehow went ahead in a game...
  6. Lol...Apparently, they are bitter about Rovers landing Markanday?
  7. Yeah. The way it turned out, Garrett would have been a much better fit. Maybe, JDT thought they could get Dack on the ball a bit? I did smile at the idea of JDT being Godlike in testing Dack, as if he was Adam or Job?
  8. Re Hull kid, I know the feeling!
  9. I didn't watch, but my Hull supporting mate just rang to say Rovers were good. I listened to the last 25 minutes and I do worry about the way we keep sitting back, seeming to find it impossible to take care of the ball and get up the pitch.
  10. Yeah. Me too. A bit of a shame that their owners are Qatari, though. Some of my long suffering, Geordie mates are uncomfortable about it, but I find it hard to begrudge them their moment in the sun. At least, Jack's money was earned by a Blackburn work force!
  11. Well, the commentators said he hardly got a touch, but was chasing lost causes
  12. Actually, contrary to the myth, I thought Rovers fans were remarkably tolerant.
  13. Haha. Me too.. But...Let's have it straight...He did look clueless and shit. Lol
  14. I think the current points total flatters us. Call me old fashioned, but the repeated pattern of passing sideways and backwards around our own area frustrates me-especially when we can't pass our way as far as the half way line. Watching our young team doing this is like watching children playing with matches-with the gas on! Thank God we finally have a group of solid defenders and a super keeper- the best, since Brad. The World Cup break will be crucial for JDT to work on the training field, as well as the transfer window!
  15. And yet...others say all was not well in the dressing room...cliques/"Southport Mafia", excluding behaviour......wheels seemed to come off very quickly too....just saying
  16. Mowbray, didn't he just! I think TM is still a very angry man and he should not be undermining another manager. As is Mowbray's custom, he says he does not wish to undermine JDT, while doing exactly that...Similarly, he will say "I don't want to criticise the referee but..." I fully expect Sunderland to get Dack for next to nothing...which may well come back to bite us. Personally, I just cannot believe Dack has not got more to offer than certain others, who have got many more minutes...
  17. "Darragh, what's the score?" and "You should have stayed at Rovers" really poor? Get hold of yourself!
  18. Yeah. I made a decision not to engage with today's game until it was over, but my son texted me that we were 2-0 up and cruising. I -foolishly-logged onto this site, just in time to see were had conceded a sucker punch goal before half time. In all honesty, I predicted a Boro onslaught in the 2nd half and at least an equaliser. So well done, Rovers! At least we can battle, even when we can't keep the ball....
