  1. Exactly! If you are not prepared to back the manager, you have to get rid...I am worried that TM is just a dead man walking, going through the motions, wanting others to take the decision -resulting in a pay off. We could go on like this until it's too late! Venky's OUT!!!!
  2. Port Vale at Ewood circa 1971 in the snow-round 1 of the FA Cup, I think... In poor visibility a sparse Blackburn End booed Rovers onto the pitch, seeing them come out in red. It took a few minutes to recognise that the players were not the away side..
  3. I also think there is an added issue about the actual manner in which our hard-won premiership status was p****d down the toilet by the arrogant, kamikaze "decision making" in the first 18 months of this Venky nightmare...
  4. Apologist? You're not kidding either. Well, Myers makes me f*** sick! He'd be singing be a very different tune, if Venky's had done this at Everton...
  5. When I hear the phrase "badly advised", I reach for my revolver. A few years ago, Kate Hollern used it to some Rovers fans on election night...to a chorus of gasps, guttural noises...and worse!
  6. Yup..and no more bargaining crap from me either ...No meaning... and merely getting more angry, whenever I even try to tell the story... Falling Down the Leaguehttps://screenradar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/FALLING-DOWN-.jpg
  7. Dear, oh dear! The only question that matters here is whether the dire situation at Blackburn Rovers is acceptable. Of course, it is more than reasonable for fans to be extremely p***d off with what these people are doing to the club. And if someone wants to use the word "depressing" in its colloquial sense, so what...It is a messageboard not a case conference!
  8. Maybe he could record All Along the Watchtower...There must be some way outta here!
  9. Agreed. Rolivier 's speech certainly rallied me. I can't help wondering if Rolo loves Charles Laughton and Olivier, as much as he obviously loves Rovers. How dare they!!!
  10. I love this. It speaks to my heart. It could be delivered by Olivier! It is our version of Henry V Crispian's Day speech lol
  11. I am wondering who benefits from "losses" like that. What is the function, for whom? However many millions they quote, I fail to be impressed. What a business failure! Add these "losses" to all the money from two seasons in the premier league , all the money from their fire sales and all the parachute payments.. Yet they never, ever appoint a proper manager, install a proper structure. However much money they quote, it is not f**** working! Get out and let someone take over, who is willing and able to run a club properly. Not one attempt at promotion to the top flight in 10 years....zombie club...only one outcome...
  12. Ten thousand saw I at a glance, Renewing their tickets?-not a chance!
  13. Wordsworth Blues, we are (not) here lol I can't have been the only one , thinking the poor Danes were like Rovers fans, leaving Old Trafford after one of those decisions! Just think...Gareth Northgate has the distinction of taking Boro down!
  14. Keep posting them for me. It is a message board not a court of law lol
  15. "These Blackburn fans remember the likes of Sutton and Shearer, banging them in"...( their expectations are too high...sense of entitlement blah blah) It's called "re-definition" in the trade and is just a way of misdirecting people from the unpalatable truth of his and Waggott's mismanagement and rightful supporter dissatisfaction. The trouble is that our illustrious owners didn't even have the guts to sack Kean, so......
  16. I still tell my kids about some of his goals. I think this was my third Rovers bereavement-after Newton and Knighton. As a certain, octogenarian songwriter might say, "I used to care, but ..things have changed."
  17. Both BB and SG have had a pretty easy ride. I agree that neither has control over their ridiculous fees. Lets face facts, though. Both have been very poor for most games. In a Rovers fan context , both are in a similar league to the likes of Paul McKinnon, John O'Mara, Kevin Davies, Jack Lewis and the fading John Radford..(Oh, there's such a long list!) Obviously, that could change for both SG and BB....but it really does need to-and quickly!
  18. Sounds awful. State of Denmark rotten etc! It is always possible that TM offered the contract in good faith in light of an agreed budget, only for someone else to reduce the budget later? Maybe, Mowbray made the mistake of going on holiday like Cheston and the world turned.... Most of us do know that Blackburn Rovers and normal should never occupy the same sentence........(without another word like never or not) I fear for us this season..Out, out out with the lot of them!
  19. On the last but one election night, when a well known poster stood, basically on a Venky's Out mandate, I heard Kate muttering the words "badly advised"....That was enough for me!
