Bygones are bygones, I'm afraid.

Quite. So many appear to have re-written our history for the pre-Walker years and it serves as a reason for accepting the unacceptable. Since 2012, we have hardly even made the play-off positions in the 2nd tier. Going nowhere, then in reverse. Our last dip into the 3rd tier was largely an anaesthetic for our Venky disease, although it did create a feel-good factor for a while.. However, we pissed away the momentum. FOV!

Tony Mowbray Discussion

That is what is so galling. We all knew and we have known for at least two windows. Tony knew too.... -

Venkys London Ltd accounts

A double whammy really. Sacking Big Sam, then replacing him with the inexperienced reptile- which had always been the plan, apparently.. When I was getting anxious about the prospect of the new ownership, I consoled myself in the knowledge that the emerging stewardship of the Walker "Trust" was taking us down anyway-certainly, within a couple of seasons. What a miserable nightmare this has been! -

Anger is coming! -
Interesting. Most of the seasons in the so-called 80's dark times saw the Rovers in with a shout certainly until February. Hence Bill Fox's quote "We get promoted in February." The Venky's years in the second tier have all been like a Beckett play. No point, nothing happens.

In the old days, we would bite the bullet, sell Dack and use a percentage of the fee to build a balanced squad. The heartbreaking sale of Tony Field allowed us to build a promotion-winning team. But that would take someone with the nous of Gordon Lee in the transfer market. Tony's transfer record is a huge worry for me. Even the purchase of Dack can't make up for the likes of Brereton and Gallagher and the woeful imbalance in the squad.

Cringiest moments in Rovers history?
Leonard Venkhater replied to Amo's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
The Alan Spratley incident at Ewood and the Jim Brown one a few years later. Rovers fans, chanting Kingsley Read's Blue and White Army on the London underground in the 70's. Paul Agnew saying on Radio Lancs that " the emergence of Jason Lowe" was the reason for Salgado losing his place.... -

"Post snatcher" lol -
Seriously? Well, here goes. Bazza said Bell was a million times better than Goulon. You said Bell is not a million times better than anyone. My diplomatic conclusion is that, in a sense, you are both right. ...because, I thought it was well established that Goulon was worth nothing ( in terms of contribution to BRFC)..... Well, it is more interesting than the current Blackburn Rovers...
