  1. I spoke to someone, who had been in last night's supporters' meeting and my impression was just a repeat of what TM had said previously..i.e. selling Dack was the club's insurance position for avoiding FFP...but in the summer- not this window ...only then he got injured etc
  2. ...and relegation?
  3. We could always change our name to VRFC for a few million...Medicated Battery Hen Park, anyone? Why this is Hell, nor am I out of it..etc
  4. I guess losing Mulgrew, Samuel and loaning out Brereton might make a small dent, but we must be nearing the FFP threshold. The end of January will be much like last year, I feel. Ambition 0 Cowdenbeath 3
  5. Very poor budget management, indeed. Look at all the money pissed away and we have managed the play-off positions for one hour or something in the last 8 years. FFP about to rear its head again, so rinse and repeat of 2016 coming around the corner. Ambitious owners?-Rubbish
  6. Well, I do and the only word for it is.."Shit"!
  7. Hubris then punishment! My kids still laugh at me for over- celebrating Friedel's equaliser at Chartlton . I'm not sure how to say this, but this bloke grabbed me and we danced all the way down the aisle with a few others. It was only after we gathered ourselves together that I realised he had some form of learning difficulty and that he had a carer, who seemed a bit..well worried!
  8. I was there. Freezing cold. Remember what happened a couple of minutes later. Plus ca change ...
  9. But TM has been paying Harrods' prices in B&M Bargains!
  10. Agreed. No kidding, but I did wonder if O'Neill would come in for him before our Stoke game and I was dead certain that Evans would put a shift in at the Britannia-to that end! Out, I say lol
  11. "Always the victim. It's never your fault!"
  12. Perhaps, they really want to try and get promotion. What a novel idea!
  13. He would have been only too aware of his non -contribution. Being booed by your own fans, now what positive contribution could that ever make to the individual player or the club?
  14. I get the frustration..God knows I am heartily sick of this Rovers shit-show BUT our own fans booing an individual Rovers player can do no good whatsoever.
  15. You are not helping lol..
  16. It must have been a pearler! Agree with the rest of your post.
  17. I once worked in a psychiatric adolescent unit and I remember that the head psych would often tell the kids that it was "a strength" to cry. In all seriousness, this is just supporters, who are rightly p**d off after yet another shit-show, venting their anger. No-one can seriously condemn a man for crying...can they?!
  18. Who is his agent? lol
  19. For me, it's like Bush and Blair with the Iraq war. They need a proper plan and to have thought through (at least a few of)the next steps etc.
  20. Needlessly. indeed. If the owners wanted to deliberately relegate the club in 2012, they could hardly have acted differently. Same again in 2016...
  21. Yes, I think that bird has flown. Bournemouth, QPR, Derby, Villa, Sheff Wed etc.
  22. Hmmm...I am sure he is in a bit of a crisis. No shame in tears, as far as I am concerned. He is certainly visibly lacking in confidence. At the moment, he looks shit, I know, but booing aint going to help one bit.
