I didn't think he was that bad, but I did go to an evening with Flitcroft and Jansen at Ewood once and these questions always come up about the best player they've ever played with. The usual names always get a mention - Jansen, Duff and Tugay. They were also asked who the worst player was, and while they wouldn't 'directly' answer, they said if you'd had a bad game/training session, it was referred to as 'having a Grabbi'.

Asked a City fan I know for his opinion on Adarabioyo. He described him as stylish but a bit lightweight for a bean pole. Maybe that will work alongside Lenihan, but I would like to see a nasty centre half in the squad as well.

Is he an improvement on what we have in the squad currently? Definitely. Is he better than Harrison Reed? Probably not. So whilst I think it is a decent addition, it doesn't actually make us any stronger than last year. I think the message from Southampton was basically not to even ask about a price for Reed.

I'll definitely be buying this - my all-time favourite Rover. I was watching the goals from the 00/01 season just yesterday, and you forget how good he was. I know a lot of players who played around that era regard Jansen and Tugay as the two most skillful players they ever played with. I always remember watching his debut against Spurs next to my dad. I was quite excited by him already, before my dad commented that he just kept beating a man, then going back to dribble past him again. He wasn't as impressed by him as I was. Then just after he'd made the comment, Jansen flicked the ball up, spun Sol Campbell and cracked the ball into the bottom corner.

Not sure what game you were watching - but we were much worse in the second half against Preston than the first. First 10 minutes aside, we were on top in the first half. Second half was an absolute shambles.
