  1. Southgate hasn't been bad as England manager but is way to loyal to certain players and is too cautious. Everyone raves on about Terry Venables but he never reached a final (partially because of Southgate). However he is not the man to make Man Utd what they were under Ferguson.
  2. Expecting the authorities here to investigate is a dream. Bury were taken over by a man with 22 insolvent companies behind him.
  3. This season has been more Frayed ends of sanity. And unlike most, I appreciate the Load album as they earned the right to not go down the Oasis route, and experiment. Anyway to get back to football, I am expecting us to be looking over our shoulders until the last 2 games.
  4. There has to be some funny business going on, as who'd want to run a very public part of their portfolio so badly? Rich people love saving money with tax avoidance and suchlike not throw £20m+ down the toilet and run something to the ground.
  5. Better than a loss I suppose. Sounds like we performed better too.
  6. It shows what a good manager and decent owners can do. From League 2, and not knowing where the home games will be to appearances at Wembley and possible promotion. One day it might be us, though right now it feels like we will just end up at the crap owners and League 2 stage.
  7. It's hard to be optimistic about this club. I'm expecting a steady decline to the fourth tier and a whole generation of fans believing that the sort of season Port Vale or Northampton Town usually has is 'our level', whilst going to the nearest JJB Sports shop to buy a Real Madrid or Liverpool shirt.
  8. Even Jesus Christ himself cannot save this team from failure. Everything is set up to do so from the boardroom to the cleaners. Eustace may be a bit rubbish, but we could do even worse. Re-sign Coyle, get Rooney or some out of work has been like Strachan for example.
  9. Even Pep or Klopp would not succeed with the club. The wheels have truly come off and it'll be luck that might save us this season.
  10. This club is dead. It is finished. There is no chance of anything positive happening unless the Raos sell the club, and since that's never going to happen...... All the players with the exception of Sammy are bottle jobs.
  11. We're off to League 1 if we play like this. When will those bums sell the club and do one?
  12. At least Shearer will go to bed knowing the only thing he has ever won was with us.
  13. Wow, wasn't expecting this drama. Have my second break and it's penalties.
  14. Another well done for the tennis balls. Got Warnock and Murphy mentioning the owners. Hopefully more will join in next time.
  15. All I'm interested in is if there are any Venkys Out banners and so on. We'll lose this one thanks to our weak squad.
  16. Couldn't stand him as a DJ, but I get the feeling he was a good guy, and welcomed the newer, younger DJs.
  17. 1 game and it's already Eustace out. Wow. I've not looked, but I bet there have been a few of our best managers that have lost their first game. Perhaps we should have rotating managers like the hosts of Have I Got News For You, or hold a raffle for fans to have a go at the next game. How the hell can someone come into this club and then magically stop it being some sort of insane crap show within a week when the clowns are still in place? And how do you expect a head coach to rid us of those clowns? Buy the club? Launch a tactical nuke to Pune?
  18. I hope we do have a sell on clause.
  19. It'll be as little as possible. Batty, and other kids will become the squad players, we will sell a few players and bring in some 21 year olds from the reserves of Liverpool, Chelsea etc. on loan. Sammie will probably be sold too.
  20. I was watching a stream of 49ers fans in LV at a party watching it, and I could feel the deflation that followed the tension. They must feel like we did after the Euro final a few years ago. Hopefully they won't start fighting. And Taylor Swift can only write about ex boyfriends.
  21. Sounds like the 2003 rugby union world cup with how close and tense it is. The fans must be in knots. Edit: Gone into overtime. With how fat Americans can get I hope they have the defibrillators ready for the fans in the stadium.
  22. The Taylor Swift Hive Mind will be unhappy at the moment, Kansas are losing 10-3 as I type. She'll probably break up with him next week if he loses, and all the 14 year old girls, flamboyant gays and crazy cat ladies who listen to her songs will be sending death threats to that player.
  23. What was the response to those with the banners from other fans?
