On Wednesday, I think it was a sense of astonishment at what was going on which perhaps prevented any visible fan dissent. IMO, people are wisening up to it and are on the edge of letting rip.

My view is that it simply shows the general lack of intelligence footballers have. They can't or don't think, and then in the case of Bennett and his inflated ego, try and take the high ground in justifying it. At the end of the day, players like Bennett are a 1000 a penny. Journeymen players with only the smallest modicum of ability. They're not worth the merest of thoughts. -

On the subject of Buckley, as soon as I saw the team last night I thought to myself 'we'll never score here'. What on earth is Mowbray thinking when he plays Buckley down the middle? He can't shoot, let alone score, has no pace to speak of, and is physically not suited for that role. I'm no expert, but bloody hell, even I can see that would never work.

We're desperate for Ayala to be fit for Sheffield. At the very least, he can better organise the defence. -
Mowbray should have done far better with the resources afforded to him, that's for sure. He's a poor manager. The fact that Mowbray and Waggott are still here though, and seemingly not leaving any time soon, is on the owners.

As people have posted, the real issue in all of this is the owners. Nothing will fundamentally change for the better until they leave or have an unlikely, miraculous change of tact in how the club is run. The immediate problem to hand though, is our manager. He needs replacing right now, even if that's just a sticking plaster over the whole thing.

Exactly @tomphil, it should have been a damage limitation exercise. We could have put everyone behind the ball and got away with a 4 nil score, but oh no, Mogga knows best. The one I felt for last night was Edun. He got ripped to shreds, but Mowbray just let it happen. -

I said this very thing to a chap on the way out. Edun was totally lost, but Mowbray let him suffer. Sums Mowbray up to a tee. -
Ewww..... If I never hear that again it's once too many.

I suspect that Fulham would give Buckley a sterner test than Derby perhaps did. Your point about keeping the formation the same is spot on though - let's hope that Mowbray doesn't overthink it all again. -

Barca fans are a bit odd. I watched the Classico last week when there was nearly 90k on.
