  1. We famously had one player who didn't struggle in Serie B, in fact he's still described as a legend at his old team. Here however.....
  2. We arent their main business interest, in fact as you can probably tell they have very little interest in us at all. It's quite normal in business to have someone like Suhail running foreign operations and giving feedback, raising issues and concerns. It would be VERY easy to spin a tale to them that we're doing OK at the moment and don't need money. We're still in the top 6, punching above our weight so to speak. As absent owners they'll be delighted with that! I am not for one minute saying the Venkys are sweet innocent badly advised cheeky chappys just to be clear - they're cunts too.
  3. Suhail is their eyes and ears in the UK, the direct link between here and India. If you search on this message board around 2017 you will find information. If they put their trust in this 'man', which I believe they do, they will think he's giving them good, reliable feedback. On the face of it him and Waggott will be great guys, raking cash in from players and spending fuck all in return, because we're a top 6 team, for a few more days anyway. After which it'll be too late to sign reinforcements when we're languishing on 10th and below.
  4. Let be completely honest here. The more we spend, the less Suhail gets in his bonus, its not rocket science. He's their eyes and ears, he fills them with shit, he's effectively got the perfect job for a scumbag rat, raking in money for doing fuck all. In fact the less he does the more he will probably earn. Some gig, the twat.
  5. It’s quite telling that even resident jackanory merchants like Tommy and Mercer can’t even be arsed this window peddling their lies, although that might not necessarily be a bad thing…..
  6. Can't see it on LinkedIn. He does have several associates from Burnley on there though, maybe they have a job to offer him, please?
  7. May as well just credit them 3 points now and give our few fit players a rest
  8. He doesn't have a huge contract, also there's a good chance the club have breached something within his contract so he'd probably be sound to walk away without issue.....
  9. If if was Eustace I'd be telling Waggott, king rat and Rudy, whoever the fuck needs to know - get me at least 2 decent new players in the building by Saturday or you'll be looking for a new manager. He'd walk away with pride and a good reputation, into another job. Nobody should have to put up with it.
  10. I wouldn't go that far, and at least he's capable of staying onside. In a weird way I think he might actually benefit from the time he's had on the sidelines. A few weeks to recover and reset. He was looking a bit worn out and the last few games went down with injuries, it was only a matter of time till he got one that kept him out. A revitalised Yuki, like the one that we had in August would be a huge boost.....
  11. Not a thing. They're either A> keeping their cards even closer to their chests that normal or B> there's fuck all happening. I know which option is the more likely in eyes. I'm distancing myself from the subject to be quite honest, January is depressing enough as it is. Fair play anyone who remains upbeat or remotely optimistic about this window, the Chaddys of the world. I however am fully expecting another catastrophic shit show.
  12. Struggling to see us win a game till Travis is back now, although even then he’ll take a while to get back up to speed. You can’t really perform in the championship without a half decent midfield and I don’t think we have that with Forshaw in it. 1 nil defeat
  13. Nixon is being a dick there definitely no truth in it
  14. Thomas-Asante deal is no longer an option after he scores winner today and we weren't prepared to go above 5k a week in wages is my bet
  15. I'm not so sure, not like they're at the foot of the table. If he strings a decent run together they're right in the play off picture. Emotion often gives added impetus and there's a lot of it about with this appointment...
  16. Not true at all from what I've seen (the fan part), they seem delighted
  17. Aye thought that must be the case as he seemed to be scoring a few previously. Let us pray that he turns out to be a gem!
  18. Mafoumbi just scored a stunner to put us 3-2 up. Has he been injured? Haven't seen him mentioned for ages till tonight...or has he just been playing crap?
  19. I'm concerned he'd get rid of broccoli as much as anything else 🤬
  20. I liked Mowbray a large portion of the time, but I'd be gutted if we reappointed him. He got them promoted once, significant difference being he was backed heavily in the transfer market back then though which he wont get now. Presumably his last managerial job and I wish him well, just finish below us....
  21. What's interesting about the play off hopefuls below us currently is only WBA have a defensive record rivalling ours. But right down to Swansea they have all scored more. It's glaringly obvious who needs to strengthen where, the fear as always under this regime is that the others will do that, and we'll piss another season away....
  22. One of the weirdest loan signings we've ever had. I think it was the Newcastle game he looked brilliant AND an absolute liability in the space of like 10 minutes. Liverpool must have caught him on a good day when scouting him......
  23. Tough one to call, although they're unbeaten in 5 in the league, they've had a much easier last 5 games than us, at least on paper. Not sure what sort of team they put out against Exeter in the cup? Our response to losing to the twats up the road has been good, that could have signalled a real slump but hats off to JE and the lads putting things right. We haven't conceded more than 1 goal in 13 games now, to high flying Sunderland in the 2-2 draw. Defensive steel like that means you're always in a game regardless. A 1 nil away win would be nice but I've got a sneaky feeling this ends 1-1, not a complete disaster but could see WBA edging us out the top 6.
  24. I think he's on about in terms of the standard of football. Revenue wise, they have some really big stadia, multiple stadiums above 50k capacity ( that get filled) Which will account for the revenue side of it.
