True. My only slight gripe with Eustace is he never really involves fringe players in reserve games. For his faults JDT had that part nailed down and i was a big fan of keeping everyone match fit. Injuries or suspensions are the main opportunity now for them. -

What would you have done with regards to cover at centre half though realistically? Because that all it should be really, cover. Up front is a completely different kettle of fish, if we can loan in anyone remotely decent they should walk into the team! -

Don't expect much, it's dumped by the docks with not a great deal around bar a few pubs and it's always fucking freezing without fail! We badly need to get back to winning ways, I wouldn't be resting as many players as some on here. I'd honestly be inclined to try something different attacking wise though. Gueye up top with Leonard playing off him for the knock downs. Nothing to lose really, we can't afford to experiment too much in the league but I don't think anyone would have a meltdown if we went out today but showed a lot more attacking threat. -

Not too bothered about Sanderson. We needed cover at centre half, we were never getting in a top notch prem loan as cover and nobody would meaningfully break up the Hyam and Batth partnership. McFadzean is effectively now a coach it seems, perhaps his legs have gone a bit. Tbh not fully against that either as he really gets involved on the touchline and presumably in the dressing room. On the flipside is it just a number to add to Waggotts tally when he starts saying we brought in X amount of players in Jan to support John..... -

I wasn't expecting much this window tbh, but it wasn't expecting shite like Forshaw to sign. At least signing cheap foreign unknowns there's a chance, no matter how slim, they'll end up semi decent. We know what we're getting with Forshaw and it's utter dross. -

A league 1 loan is probably exactly what he needs, but there's absolutely no chance we could allow that as it stands..... -

Why? Are you just posting random nonsense as per? -
Chaddy would still get a full season ticket, he can make every single game regardless of day or kick off time 👍

Fair play for trying something different. I've been mentioning it for years now that it would appeal to me BUT it would be a lot more beneficial if it was done at the start of the season rather than this stage. Hopefully the incentive works and they do just that next season, I'd almost certainly purchase one.

When did Toth even play a game of some description? Can't recall seeing his name mentioned for the U21's at all lately ), believe he did have some kind of injury though. If he is called upon for the first time I suspect he's gonna be a little rusty.... -

It's been known O'brien is coming back for a while, is Nixon claiming its his exclusive? 🤣 I don't think he'll be too happy either, sounds like he was enjoying life in LA, surprisingly. -

I did just that following that comment from JDT, you'll be surprised to know I didn't get a reply 😏 -

It's bonkers how Suhail is just left to ruin the club unquestioned, outside of this message board I dare say the majority of our fans don't even know who he is. Waggott gets a bit of grief but not exactly a lot, i can genuinely say I've never seen a single post on social media slating king rat though, ever. -

Taiwo Awoniyi looks to be surplus to requirements at forest, beg them to loan him to us to boost his fee, he'd rip the championship apart i reckon 🤔 -
He isn't on loan from City

As an aside, first time I've been in the riverside for a while and was appalled by the state of it in parts! The metal section of steps looked like they were ready to crumble at some point from the rust. Was chatting to a couple of Zwolle fans at half time and they too were saying what a shithole that stand was.

Dullest derby I can remember to be honest, on the pitch anyway, 0-0 would have been a fair result. Thank fuck I don't have to watch them play every week with their mind numbing brand of Parker ball. Yeah they do have a strong chance of promotion but it's horrific to watch. Nothing much to say about the match, it was that uneventful 😴

It's our turn for some luck surely. They've had their fair share in the last few with disallowed goals, handballs, red cards. The pendulum must be due to swing again at some point.....
-
Really? I think it would actually do them the world of good to have a hard reset and ship out all the players who don't even want to be there.

Allegedly refused to play for the reserves to maintain fitness, and has never actually been 'fit' since. Eustace has said he'll be back to feature for us though. Whether that's bollocks or he's had a change of heart and agreed to knuckle down I don't know. I don't for one minute believe he's been genuinely injured for as long as he has been out for though, that I can say for certain.

Barnes has started 1 game all season and had a few fleeting substitute appearances, if we can't handle him we may as well give it up as a bad job.... Just looks like a Pace signing to try and get them onside, the brain dead will lap it up.
