  1. Has Tony taken us as far as he can?,we all want to believe he can do better but questions are starting to be asked. For most fans, consolidation back at this level would have sufficed but results are proving very awkward at present. Are supporters expectations too high on the back of a Promotion? With our apparent inability to see out games from a winning position are his tactics and/or backroom staff up to scratch at this level? I am starting to believe he has taken us as far as he can with the Players he has at his disposal...many of which are not championship standard.
  2. Bloody 'ell....a defeat from the Jaws of victory. We simply shit out when we went two up,Rabbits caught in Headlights,Keystone Cops defending...describe as you find. Sadly seen this too many times and it needs to drastically change or we could be in big trouble.
  3. What a comeback from Leeds at Villa.
  4. Norwich fans labelling us a 'bunch of Cloggers'/Anti- football on their forum's.
  5. Will need something special to get anything out of this, backs against the wall time. 2-1
  6. If Palmer is Chelsea standard I'm from fookin Mars!!!!!
  7. Gives the impression he does not want to be here...seen nothing from him to justify anywhere near a 7 Million price tag!!! Awful result, could be a bleak Christmas.
  8. How is Dack playing..barely a mention on radio.
  9. Walked out of Ewood Ten feet tall that day...never felt the Rain! 2-1 today. 13,600
  10. They just don't get it down Ewood..wasting your time.
  11. Why get yourselves into such a lather?,the message from the Bean counters at Ewood is plain and simple...they are not listening to the fans and any further price initiatives will be on their terms and ONLY their terms. They get what they get through the gates and will have to like it or lump it. Just hope they don't put prices up again next year!....
  12. We continue to be a financial car crash losing money hand over fist.Barring promotion nothing is going to improve our situation greatly. Our future in the hands of the Loons from Pune...OH BE JOYFUL!
  13. Know exactly where you are coming from IraC,a visit to the Old Ewood seemed a much better experience back in the day...a warmer more happy atmosphere.A sense of anticipation in the air as you clicked through the old BEE turnstile that seems lacking these days. Those days always bring a smile to my face.
  14. Totally agree. Both Managers kept our head above water whilst the rest of the Lancashire town teams tumbled down the divisions in quick succession. Full respect to them for that.
  15. Remember hundreds pouring out of the BBE and onto the Nuttall st enclosure in protest....seemed a bit harsh looking back.Saxtons 'nearly men' indeed! Point taken Rev about him being too loyal to certain players but let's not forget the club had barely a pot to piss in at the time.
  16. I just hope we screw every last penny out of any interested clubs when the time comes. Here's to hoping most of the cash is reinvested back into the team and not into Balaji blings sports car collection.
  17. Bloody hell talk about snatching a draw from the jaws of victory!
  18. Birmingham City...not all that much to say about 'em really in a footballing sense. BIG CLUB™ though! 2-0 14,300
  19. The man in the hot seat when I first stepped foot into the Church of Ewood, who could ever forget that gravelly voice! A decent Manager when the Club could barely afford the Milk bill.
  20. Awful. This thread just reignites the bad memories and utter chaos this club has been through lately.Lies, deceit and totall mismanagement on an unprecedented scale never before witnessed at this Club. The Raos are dipping their Toes in the water again and it sends a shiver down the Spine....can't help but feel their renewed presence is going to be nothing more than divisive. Strap in,Helmets on..here we go again.
  21. Didn't Balaji Bling state he wanted his son to take over the running of the club at some point?....I do believe we are seeing those first tentative baby steps made in that direction. Our famous old club bought as a play thing and vanity experiment. Looks like they are here for a long time to come,oh joy!
  22. Greeted with a collective sigh and raising of Eyes to the Heavens...
  23. Would love a crack at Burnley at their place..and a good win!
