  1. They have now very conveniently placed the ball into our court,if we dont agree to move the fixture we will be kicked from pillar to post by the press and made to look like the bad party in this sorry affair....you know whats coming. F**KING PATHETIC!! I find the infighting between their own supporters vile and disturbing.
  2. Utter Claptrap....Its gone from tickets being too dear ( 1 adult +2 kids on Sat =£17) to now the fault of Mr 'business man'. Football IS a business now,Rovers have to do their best to try to compete off the field of play with the big boys...Jack Walker wanted the club to be able to 'wash its own face' at some stage. We now have a good product on the field of play that in my opinion can justify the present ticket cost.....you either back the club with hard cash and support their efforts or loose it. FOR A CLUB LIKE ROVERS TO BE 6TH IN THE PREM IS A TREMENDOUS STATE OF AFFAIRS You either back the club financially and continue to see the likes of Utd,Chelsea and Liverpool at Ewood or walk away, moan like spoiled brats, free load with your £1 tickets and as sure as night follows day it'll be Rovers v Crewe on a wet Wednesday night in the not too distant future. STOP MOANING AND BACK THE CLUB FFS!!!!!
  3. Please tell us you were taking the P1SS with the above theno!
  4. I thought all this had been mutually sorted out between the two clubs? Why the hell are their supporters trying to blame us? OH HOLD ON!.......here we go again, its the hard done by,moaning, 'us against the world' Scousers.
  5. Rovers 2 Boro 0 bellamy Dickov. Att : 18,500...............no cheap tickets.
  6. The gate was artificially swelled by about 2,000(maybe double that!)kids paying £1....if you cant see that there aint much hope! Nowt against that but lets see if they pester their parents to come back and pay full price v Boro...then we can say it has been successful.
  7. Good crowd?...sorry but I dont agree. Take away the 1,500? from Villa and the give away tickets at £1 and there wasn't much responce to be honest to Hughes call for more support from the Blackburn public,we still managed to barely scrape 20K! Lets see what the crowd is against Boro.........................mmmmmmmmm
  8. Won 2-0 and played average at best. 5th in the Prem and I cant stop smiling.......this has been a very good season so far!
  9. Thinking about giving your 'support' to Rovers this afternoon behind a pint glass in the local? ............... HUGHES : ROAR US INTO EUROPE!!!!
  10. Like it or not we picked up quite a few fair weather fans when we were champions but now they have long gone our support is probably reaching its 'natural' level.
  11. Rovers to edge it 2-1 in a close encounter of the dirty Claret 'n' blue kind! Bellamy 2 Att : 19,500
  12. Some of you are being unrealistically greedy....champions league was a VERY long shot at best.
  13. You win some......you lose some.
  14. I'm Listening to the game on radio 5 live and all the comments are predictably the same......poor crowds with un-passionate support, 'unfashionable club'. Same old.
  15. JUST GIVE IT YOUR ALL LADS!! Spurs 1 Rovers 2
  16. No chance Philipl, the season after we won the prem only saw us with an average of some 27,000.....the club has only ever averaged over 30,000 once in its entire history!
  17. May I be so bold as to alter your statement Alan75,this may be more appropriate in the not so distant future.............. ''Things may change, but lets look at the positives the trust have backed the club through recent bad times, now its up to us. Lets enjoy it. Get my drift?
  18. Catch 22,I fear the club is in a no win situation, even if they lower the prices there is NO guarantee the Blackburn public will respond.......that will only further the clubs financial losses and ability to compete with clubs on a similar level like Bolton, fulham,Charlton.
  19. We're complicating matters here..........I will hazard a guess and say the vast majority of Rovers fans just want to sing songs and create their OWN atmosphere without the need for flurkin drums,Klaxons, trumpets or 'owt else!!! Fair play to the drummers, they have tried their best, but its time for them to move on. Its as simple as that really.......ARE YOU LISTENING MR WILLIAMS?
  20. ....the sky then darkened over and the town of Blackburn was swallowed by the earth. FOOKIN 'ELL THENO LETS ENJOY THE GOOD TIMES EH!
  21. Who appointed 'drummer boys from hell' without asking the fans their opinions first?
  22. Spot on Phil. Its just not funny folks...to see a grown man jumping around like a 10 year old banging a drum is NOT RIGHT I TELLS THEE!!!!!!!!
  23. But they clearly dont waggy....................
  24. Much ado about nothing, their imminent promotion WILL NOT affect our gates to any vast extent. Stanley managed a gate of 1,900 yesterday, wonder why it was down so much from the 3,000 midweek................... Waggles,Rovers fans will not abandon Ewood for the interlink express stadium....get a grip fella!! Burnley is another matter though!! GOOD LUCK 'OWD REDS!
