  1. I very much doubt that this is an issue with Swansea, given the distance, the fact that it's a 5.30pm kick-off and that it's live on Sky. The routine allocation is 2,000 and I would be amazed if we get beyond that given the circumstances. It would have been more of an issue when the Luton game tickets went on sale and sold out very quickly - I would hope that they were restricted to ST holders.
  2. The pitch is just having a three week break from any games.
  3. Spurs had two sent off.
  4. It’s a quite reassuring outcome for me. I was beginning to look at Sheffield United as a possible dark horse after 4 wins on the spin but after losing at Derby they have now thrown away a 2-0 lead against 10 men.
  5. You were perhaps a bit premature there Simon……..
  6. I doubt the oxygen tank will be much use tomorrow night - Hull's ground is a princely 6 feet above sea level.
  7. Good job I remembered to call yesterday then.
  8. Not really. Over the last 5 games Boro and Derby have the same record as us - 4 wins and a draw. Derby's good run will be good for us if they beat the odd rival. Sheffield United were in that category with 4 wins in a row until Derby beat them on Saturday. QPR have 3 in a row but 2 defeats before that.
  9. Arsenal have been relegated as well, in 1913. Everton currently hold the record for most seasons in the top Division, although they have been relegated twice, in 1930-31 and from 1951 to 1954.
  10. I imagine he will be no nearer than the bench for a few weeks at least.
  11. You're right, although only by about 18 inches and it hasn't been updated on Wikipedia.
  12. He should be great at West Brom then, the highest ground in the league.
  13. I know that these games are outside the normal schedule and I heard Steve Waggott say at the November Fans Forum meeting that Ben will be going - this is the minute: - 7. Ben Brereton Diaz - Chile JW asked whether Ben Brereton Diaz would be travelling to play Chile’s next two World Cup qualifying games on 28th January and 1st February even though these were outside the usual International breaks. SW replied that, if fit, he would as the club would be sanctioned if they didn’t allow him to go. He would as a result miss one or maybe two league games in the New Year. It's frustrating for Rovers as the Premier League are taking a week off to accommodate them but the Championship are not. And then on top of that Sky TV have moved our game on 22/1/22 to Monday 24/1/22 when Ben should already have set off for Chile.
  14. Even more so given the game is on Sky.
  15. As I understand it we don't have a choice unless the club wants to get sanctioned* or that we can somehow do a deal with Chile. * I have no idea what the sanction would be.
  16. I'm getting exactly the same message on the Cardiff site.
  17. Oh no, the secret’s out. Tom and I did a deal in Pune with Balaji 10 years ago.
  18. It looks like the restrictions in Wales will be lifted by the end of the month in time for the Swansea game.
  19. The Rich Sharpe article certainly seemed to suggest that it would be a loan and it was't happening yet as Spurs were looking to tie him down to a longer contract first.
  20. 7 live TV games in 38 days!
  21. There's plenty of time for the rules to be relaxed for you to get to the Swansea game.
  22. No. The 5th Round is the first weekend in February when we are playing Swansea, who are also out of the Cup. It is usually in January - don't know why it's later this year.
