  1. O'Rourke is miles off it recently. We probably have an interest, but no way do I believe that talks are "advanced".
  2. Only if we have offered him a new deal on at least the same terms as he's on now. If we didn't offer him a deal, then I think we would be entitled to nothing.
  3. Yeah I don't mind us giving the away kit an airing on Saturday, we have done that in friendlies before. Remember playing in that Turquoise one against Stoke at Ewood in a friendly in 2014. I'm also old enough to remember us playing in our away kit at home to Man City in 1993.
  4. Nobody said it was. Pears to Alfie Whiteman would be though.
  5. We're miles behind other sides in terms of recruitment, and as a result miles weaker than we were last season due to the players who have left. The 3 lads who have come in wouldn't get in any other championship first 11. But, it is completely where I expected us to be at this stage.
  6. Which is why it will probably happen. Downgrade FC.
  7. It could be that he's deemed not ready or good enough for this level, but I wouldn't rule him out just yet. Carter and Wharton needed multiple loans each at his age to become ready for this level.
  8. 2 and a half years left on Roslers contract, a full international, and actually seems to have a decent pedigree compared to the others we have signed. All the above tells me that this won't happen.
  9. I wouldn't expect too much insight from the actual minutes. Hopefully Glen can tell us after they are published what was said in more detail.
  10. Have to laugh. Ismael wanting 90% of business done by pre season starting was the first target, huge fail. Ismael wanting the trip to Spain to be later this summer than previous ones so all the new signings could go on it. Two full backs from a relegated Belgian side and a midfielder who can't even take part in it are the only ones through the door. Another huge fail.
  11. Someone on here said they heard he was out for 5/6 weeks
  12. Team at a guess will be Toth Alebiosu Atcheson Hyam, Riberio Hedges Travis Tronstad Kargbo Cantwell Ohashi
  13. I don't think any new CEO will be on 500k a year looking at the job description.
  14. I suspect that Baradji was to be signed as a Travis replacement, much like Alebiosu has been signed to replace Brittain. Traveres is Tronstad's replacement.
  15. I bet Suhail can't wait to appoint a new CEO so they can just wheel him out in these meetings instead.
  16. Sheff Wed haven't been in the Prem since the year 2000!
  17. You tease! You can't say that and not tell us what it was?! Unless it is in the minutes then fair enough.
  18. To be fair, no club ever gives official details of failed bids for players so you can't really blame them for not updating us on Kapaudi. Same with Brittain, only word from the club will be when he goes. I imagine there will be a name or two thrown out by Nixon/Elliot this week to distract the fanbase though, it's how we operate.
  19. They did the exact same thing last pre season so it's no real surprise. We were doing Friday/Saturday double headers, and the week before the season we had Stockport on the Friday night but didn't bother organising anything for the Saturday, despite Elliot telling us all summer that the plan was to have a home game on that Saturday. Feel like we'll be miles behind on other sides when the season starts due to terrible Pre Season planning. Even last weekend on the 5th July most other Championship sides were playing, not sure why we couldn't have had a game then after two solid weeks training.
  20. Yeah, it mirrors where the safe standing would be for home fans in NO1.
  21. I think the club have been caught out by league one/two starting a week earlier than us, and haven't got the capability of finding an alternative opponent for the weekend before the season.
  22. Good player. Think he's still out of action from a pretty bad shoulder injury he sustained at the back end of last season though.
  23. I'm glad they were seemingly pushed to get proper answers on questions. Unfortunately though, as proven time and time again, when these meetings end nothing is ever actioned on and Suhail and co probably forget about it all the next morning and press on with what they were going to do anyway.
  24. Everybody apart from the powers that be above Ismael would agree with that. Pickering I quite liked at centre half in a back 3, think he would struggle massively in a back 4 though.
