  1. I'm not sure that is correct. The rule was that you had to charge away fans the same price for a like for like seat, eg the Darwen End and Blackburn End. It's why Leeds always got away with charging away fans £38-40 when they moved there away end as it was opposite there main stand where the home fans were paying that. Behind the goal they were much cheaper. It's only this season we have done the bizarre move of charging the same for the Riverside as we do all the other lower tiers. If we must have a Cat A price structure where everywhere else is £30, the Riverside should be £25 at the most.
  2. We were bubbling along at the time of that Sheff Utd game though and just suffered a 7-0 thumping a few days before. £15 in all areas against Hudds, on a traditional bank holiday weekend when we could potentially go into the automatic promotion places? Think we would easily get 20k on including away support.
  3. Just a small point Gav, tickets aren't capped at £20 for midweek games, it's £20 in the other 3 stands but still £25 if you want to go in the Jack Walker.
  4. Last weekend game at Ewood until February 19th. Not ideal for those half ST's. Think this will be really tough, might be a game too far for our lads as thought we looked pretty leggy late on, on Wednesday. Just need one final push to get the win before a 2 week break from league games.
  5. Bloke on quest last night reckons Lenihans contract runs out summer 2023, surely he's got that wrong. EDIT - My lad informs me the usual reliable Football Manager 22 lists Lenihan as having a 1 year extension in our favour, must be where he's had it from as can't say I have ever seen that reported.
  6. Apart from beating them 5-2 last season. Although you could argue it was a BCD dead rubber.
  7. Don't think we'll even sell the original 2k allocation for this one unfortunately.
  8. No Saturday home game until February 19th now which is a bit ridiculous. Hope our form continues until then or we'll be back to 10k attendances.
  9. Be suprised if they draw or lose to Cardiff, but you never know.
  10. Just need one more huge push to get a result on Sunday then it's 2 weeks without a league game. Make every change possible for the Wigan game.
  11. We smashed them 5-2 at Ewood last season, although it was a dead rubber between two poor teams. Can see a draw on Sunday.
  12. Bournemouth have a decent home game tomorrow night though which they will surely win.
  13. All these 5-0 predictions are definitely coming back to bite us. Cant help but think of us beating Newcastle twice during the season we were relegated from this league. Throws up strange results this league.
  14. Because this is classed as our "bank holiday fixture" its up to the home club whether its show on the red button or not. These games aren't included in the original contract that allows sky to show them on the red button. Same will apply for Huddersfield on Sunday as that is our "New Year Bank Holiday" home game. Neither will be on the red button as we haven't given permission for any bank holiday games to be on since the contract started, but you will be able to buy both on Rovers TV I imagine.
  15. I can see that Hull farce being a real momentum buster. That, along with all the freak results you tend to get at this time of the year makes me think we'll crash back down to earth tonight. Rovers 0 Barnsley 1
  16. Which means they will call it off at about 6pm tomorrow?
  17. To be fair there there's quite a few midweek slots in the EFL calender available to play the postponed games, especially after the last international break.
  18. Presuming seeing as there has been no further covid news in the past couple of days that everything is OK on the Hull side and that we're definitely on tomorrow?!
  19. To be fair you don't have to trudge down there on Christmas Eve to buy a ticket. Just ring the ticket office, pay for your tickets over the phone and collect from Hull on the day. Plus even if you did go down to get one, the shop is open Christmas Eve anyway to deal with anyone getting there last minute gifts, we're not paying somebody extra to be there to deal with the odd Hull ticket sale.
  20. Hull won't want to call this off if they can help it. In half decent form themselves, ticket offer to get a good gate, TV revenue from being selected on SKY. Think this will be on.
  21. Fulham's game on Boxing day is off, NOW we can go top with that 18-0 win...
  22. Scottish games are going to a 500 capacity from Boxing Day onwards, for at least 3 weeks.
  23. Yeah I wouldn't be going after Maja. I quite like that we have BBD, Gallagher, Dolan and Khadra competing for two places. Add Dack to that hopefully in the New Year. We desperately need a right back, can't be taking Buckley out of that midfield when Nyambe breaks down again, and JRC will never be fit.
