  1. Ah but that was never actually the walk out song. It was a nice little warm up number at 2.50pm. Usually introduced by the great Gerald Jackson in the RR days, announcing ‘that soon the boys will be BACK IN TOWN…’
  2. You just know how he’ll have it cooked…
  3. So if they are ‘fair enough’ why do we have 8,700 ST holders, but PNE have 12k, League 1 Bolton 14k? Ha liar, you literally told us after the meeting that you didn’t ask him what you had planned and went on about all week before. (Because you were a rabbit in the headlights in the CEO’s office. But I’ll humour you anyway, so what changes has he brought in that you suggested?
  4. It’s because a decision has obviously been made to rinse the remaining core for as much as possible and feck trying to grow the match going support.
  5. You chucked all your ideas in Swag’s bin as soon as you walked in his office, so I’m not going take your advice.
  6. He hasn’t half talked some tripe across various threads today. Part of me thinks, ‘he has to be on the windup’… but no, in reality he isn’t, which is a worry. 😁
  7. No it isn’t embarrassing to expect your club to have a semblance of a sensible ticketing strategy without random fans having to go to reason with a CEO earning £300k. Or perhaps PNE’s ticketing strategy was set after Bob from Fulwood had a brew with Peter Ridsdale….
  8. If only the fans would’ve chanted for a new formation, he’d have changed it straight away…
  9. My god! They are one off marquee events, not second division football matches taking place 23 times a year. The lengths you will go to. Embarrassing. 🤦‍♂️
  10. Think that’s called checkmate 😁
  11. So he’s stubborn, unwilling to accept that he’s wrong, or make tactical changes and thought he was always right… but he also made changes when the fans said so? Err ok…
  12. For those players you listed, no.
  13. Why would Everton not been able to attract relegated Burnley players, a player from Wolves who had fallen out with his manager and a Brighton player otherwise?
  14. Apropos of nothing, saw that Walton fella flapping at one in a third division game the other week…
  15. Aye ok. We had all this with BBD in the summer and with Rothwell last January. You think the hacks would have worked out by now that these owners are inscrutable to even those close to/in the club, nevermind Twitter ‘journos’. Fills a few inches in various rags every week all the way to the end of January though, I suppose…
  16. It would be a rather strange/weak manager that would pick his team off what Roverboi95 on brfcs.com or Twitter thought. TM certainly didn’t give a fig what fans thought of his selections either… and quite right too.
  17. Why which manager wouldn’t sub a player because of the fans?
  18. Really, Mike? The kind of folk that would kick off? Doubt the day would make one iota of difference. And obviously Saturday would’ve been 12:30 too.
  19. Good job they have some decent players as ‘Lamps’ himself ain’t going to be a differentiator…
  20. Just play it on the alternative night. Tuesday for one game, Wednesday the other, no?
  21. In what way? You can still sup for hours on a Sunday. Not exactly Sunday trading .
  22. Considering Sky usually show a 12:30 Saturday Championship game anyway, what is the rationale for (presumably) local plod making this game, and Cardiff v Swansea take place mostly at Sunday dinner? Do hoolies behave better on a Sunday?
  23. They cannot afford to get relegated when in the midst of building a new ground, so if there’s a chance they might, he’ll be potted.
  24. City fans? Surely not! Thought *everybody* supported Burnley in Burnley? Certainly something you hear journos and even Kompany himself constantly coming out with…
