  1. Same old questions from you ‘99, he told you that, *checks calendar* five months ago!
  2. Sacked? No chance, TM’s horror runs never had him close to it, so a few shocking away performances for JDT certainly won’t have him for the chopping block…
  3. Once Rev makes his mind up, there ain’t no going back! 😁
  4. ‘Absolutely terrible fans’, ‘all this moaning about prices and it was still half empty’. ‘They’ve done all they can, make it £30 from now on’. Not realising, of course, that say, 14k home fans is more than respectable when you only have 8,700 ST holders.
  5. Oh there is looking at the map. My point is more re those expecting an Oxford style crowd for a game in November at double the price of that fabled match (though that is what I’ve read from plenty on other SM, not particularly on here).
  6. It’s cheaper. The point is it’s not markedly cheaper than a lot of other games, so it won’t lead to some huge crowd on a cold and wet November day. But as long as the ground feels busier than normal, which it will, then all good.
  7. It’s a whole quid cheaper than what we charge for a night game. Of course it’s good to see a sensible price for a Saturday match for once, and we will see a decent enough gate as a result, but it isn’t a mega discounted price that would see a massive uplift on normal.
  8. Any chance you could do a similar stat for previous seasons? Midweek aways have felt like a write off for years!
  9. Their release was perfectly timed for a good take up last season, put on sale just as we embarked on that charge up the table… let’s hope they don’t coincide with the opposite this time!
  10. We’ve lost every single red button away game since it was introduced.
  11. You hardly go to away games so obviously it doesn’t impact you, you can nicely settle down to watch it on your sofa, so what’s the problem? But guess what, it is an inconvenience to those that spend every other weekend travelling the country supporting their club and spending good money, I.e those Cardiff fans that now have to be up at 5am on NYD. How about thinking of those that show such commitment for their club for one millisecond? Yes, ‘it is how it is’, but because it has been ‘like this for years’ doesn’t automatically make it right and mean the loyalty of football fans is not being exploited.
  12. If they are a loanee it is a purely short term transactional relationship for both sides. Harvey Elliott and Morton, helping us to win football matches, whilst getting to develop as players, which is for the benefit of their parent club. Win, win. Whereas Clarkson, he wasn’t up to it, so he went back, no hard feelings, but that’s the name of the game with loanees, so if Hurst can’t step up soon, then why waste everybody’s time?
  13. I remember when it was just shelves behind a counter in the Nuttall Street and you’d just point at a hat or scarf… still better quality than the tat the ‘store’ has now.
  14. Remember when festive period fixtures were local/local-ish games? Now we have Cardiff and their fans having to get to Ewood for noon on NYD. The complete contempt the football authorities and their paymasters have for supporters has never been more clear.
  15. An England forum? Sounds horrendous 😁
  16. Nah, Wings for me…
  17. What are the factors?
  18. What’s your favourite song?
  19. Confirmed for Coventry… https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2022/october/31/rovers-can-confirm-that-tomorrow-s-game-against-coventry-city-will-take-place-at-the-coventry-building-society-arena--kick-off-7-45pm--the-club-would-like-to-thank-supporters-for-their-patience-and-understanding-over-the-past-few-days---tuesday-s-ticketing-and-travel-operation-will-be-as-originally-planned---fans-who-are-yet-to-purchase-a-ticket-for-the-game-can-pay-on-the-day-from-the-coventry-building-society-arena-/
  20. Travis and Nyambe. Lenihan is about three years older, Raya a couple.
  21. Maybe, just maybe, music is a matter of personal taste…
  22. *Fake Lancashire.
  23. Because the stadium is owned by a Wasps holding company that is about to go into administration. So not actually connected to Coventry’s own financial issues.
