  1. £430 to £530 for new/returning fans is a disgrace and explains the poor sales and our inability to get more than 8,500-8,700 ST holders.
  2. The fact you honestly expect players to say they don’t support their managers in public says you don’t understand.
  3. It is necessary because you are debating an issue you don’t understand
  4. Used to go there for Sunday lunch, Mother’s Day meals etc. Thirty plus years ago the club actually knew how to ‘sweat the assets’…
  5. The club itself will also expect the player to back the manager/the club/teammates in public. Standard comms policy. More basic stuff really that Chad seems to struggle to grasp.
  6. He’s still only a teenager and learning his trade at the highest level so his mistakes will be amplified. Top prospects often get farmed out on loan at 18, 19, 20 to develop.
  7. Say SG couldn’t get a kick because of a row with the manager and BD was in the side every week that would also be a correct tactical decision according to Chaddy, so not sure why everybody is going back and forth with him on it.
  8. We sold 8,600 in 2019/20, we’ve sold 8,700 this time. I mean, ‘much improved’, that, up a mighty 100 people in three years, keep that ratio up and we’ll be breaking the 10k barrier by about 2062.
  9. We only had 7k sold by KO last season. Which really was pitiful. This season has seen us back to our recent years glass ceiling of c8.5k. Small mercies and all that.
  10. Finishing 6th with a club with a huge budget an achievement?
  11. Oh as an aside they aren’t ‘much improved’ on 2019/20. That also saw sales of c8,500. So apart from the utterly horrendous figure of last season, we are at our joint worst sales figure for over thirty years. So yeah, I reckon a description of merely ‘poor’ is being generous.
  12. What’s 7 years ago got to do with anything? And it certainly isn’t ‘7 years ago’ at our neighbours. If you actually think 8,700 STs is a good figure for Blackburn Rovers then there’s no point carrying on this conversation.
  13. They were poor sales too. We had nearly 11,000 under Bowyer. We are thousands behind other local clubs. They are ‘poor’ until we get back to those levels, not a success because we sold slightly more than other appalling seasons of sales.
  14. We have 8,700 ST holders, of course that’s poor.
  15. JDT defo has a daily look through The Chadster’s tweets and posts for inspo…
  16. It’ll be flying in his back garden.
  17. Ha always with the 90s reference! Ok mavericks like Eric aside. Just doesn’t happen with the modern day media trained player… even Ke*n was backed to the hilt in public to the very end.
  18. Can you point me to an interview from a player, anywhere, ever, in which they say they aren’t ‘behind the manager’?
  19. He did a very good job for Blackburn Rovers at a time when the Walkers had cut the purse strings. I’m not particularly arsed about what’s gone on elsewhere.
  20. They can’t be, it’s a uniquely brfcs thing to be ‘negative’ according to some on here…
  21. We’ve been round this buoy about a thousand times on here. Both sides will never agree, but he had us a comfortable PL side with an ever decreasing budget. Top manager.
  22. I get that, but going into November we didn’t particularly expect the season to go anywhere, now we are in the mix already.
  23. It really wasn’t, especially at Ewood.
  24. Saw him absolutely smashed once in Lytham on a school night. Don’t think Bowyer ran a particularly tight ship…
  25. What I would say is we have manoeuvred ourselves into a very handy position. Remember we hadn’t even had our 7-0 hammering from Fulham yet this time last season which left us plodding away in mid table. The charge only getting going with the Sheff Utd win in early November. So there’s every chance of a play off berth… especially if there is some backing in January (which surely there must be as it was TM himself that decided not to spend according to a few on here with the owners poised with the cheque book).
