  1. I’ll bet neither of them have been on here in their life, so can’t say they’ll be arsed!
  2. Well obviously the two resident Dingles will be banned at 14:30 on Sunday if it goes awry…
  3. For all the slagging off it gets, this thread is a aood example of how this forum is actually a very fair minded, welcoming place for a good debate. Just imagine a Rovers fan being allowed to do the match preview on UTC or PNE-Online… and if they somehow did, how much abuse they’d get!
  4. Leaders are leaders. Hyam and Ayala are the leaders in that team and they don’t need a bit of cloth on their arm.
  5. I don’t judge armband wearers on captaincy at all, just their playing ability. Bit of a non job in football.
  6. What’s a ‘successful captain’ in that context then? Someone who just happens to be wearing an armband as the team is winning plenty of games?
  7. Yes, if we stay up at the top. Just like last season saw walk ons double as we charged up the table.
  8. Winning games and being at the top of league tables is what increases crowds, not ‘good football’, however that is quantified.
  9. Strange/easy life being a second choice keeper in the modern, reserve team free game. If no injury to the main man, they literally never play a minute of a football match for months on end (many months if knocked out of cups early). Bit of training through the week, then sit on the bench with your gloves on on a match day. Rinse and repeat…
  10. Get that MarpleLeaf on it!
  11. ‘Blues’ is too Birmingham City?! We’ve been signing it and using it as a descriptor/nickname for the club since time immemorial…
  12. Listening to JDT on Radio Lancs, sounds like an 11 changes job… thank feck.
  13. Plenty of complaints on Brfcs.com, like all forums, but it’s a pretty happy fanbase in the real world.
  14. Go up, make it £299 a ST and we’d sell an absolute shed load… but they wouldn’t, it’d be a £500 job as Swag would see the £££ signs, despite the vast TV income, and we’d do well to sell substantially more than we have now.
  15. So £229-£279 for a half season ticket, our neighbours could pretty much have picked up full one at those prices. Roll up, roll up…
  16. Because it’s mentality, much harder to ‘coach’ than drilling tactical shape into them…
  17. I honestly think it was just a mangled Chaddy sentence. Sky commentators say pretty much every time we’re on that there is no expectation of promotion on JDT from the club.
  18. Yeah back to standard timetable.
  19. Of course the Blackburn End will be close to doing. There’s only the first few rows of some blocks left, and that’s before match day sales.
  20. JW and Riverside comfortably the fullest they’ve looked all season… and that’s with 24 hours to go. BEnd will be sold out by KO. Seems a well received enough promotion to me.
  21. JDT has guided a so-so bunch to the top end of the table, ergo he’ll be in a strong position at the club and with the players, so I doubt he’d worry about ‘surviving’ dropping a run of the mill second tier player like Travis.
  22. £19 in November isn’t a tenner in May, so of course there’s plenty of gaps , there’s 20,000 seats in the open home sections and we only have 8,700 ST holders so that’s a hell of a lot of tickets to sell. However, the JW and Riverside are certainly busier than normal on the Thursday before a game, so it will be a decent enough gate.
  23. Think he means the opposite, I’m pretty sure Sky have said a few times on comms that the club doesn’t expect an immediate promotion.
