  1. Classic Bizzle. Always has to announce his his return, then announces his departure straight after. How’s that flex going by the way?
  2. Yep, no doubt he’s been a disgraceful owner. However, you can forsee a day when he’s fucked off, whereas here…
  3. What’s your favourite barbecue item?
  4. He’d probably quadruple his money even if that was the only offer so sure he won’t be crying about it.
  5. You are certainly in a minority of one with this one though.
  6. How about the player of the year?
  7. Some people, plenty of others have thought for a long time that he’s a handy (and now fairly experienced) Championship player… but of course such a player would quite rightly expect the going rate.
  8. Yeah think there might be a slight middle ground somewhere between Pears and, err, Friedel fans would be happy enough with…
  9. The ‘rest’ excuse doesn’t even make any sense. There’s a round of fixtures the weekend of the 20/21st, weekend of the 27th but also midweeks on the 30th. So what difference does it make if they play on the 27th instead of the 26th? Indeed you could make the argument that playing on the 26th would actually be better for rest periods between games. It’s obviously a TV scheduling decision hiding behind welfare.
  10. ‘Rovers’ Head of Women’s Football, Nick Birchall, said: “We are delighted to be able to announce a new ground share agreement with Clitheroe FC for the 25/26 season. As we embark on a new chapter for the Blackburn Rovers Women’s Club, the club were keen to ensure that we continue to play as close as possible to the Blackburn area, whilst ensuring we meet the ground criteria for the Women’s National League. The location and facilities at Clitheroe FC will provide a fantastic experience for fans of Women’s football and the capacity of the ground allows for continued growth of the game in the coming years’ Well, that’s one way of putting it.
  11. Yep, defo need to rest on an age old football day like Boxing Day considering all the commitments players have like playing in empty grounds in the US in June and post season tours to Hong Kong…
  12. Just a throwaway (and plain obvious comment a year ago, maybe by me, can’t remember now) about how England have had the rub of the green a bit (true), but so what, it’s tournament football, you can only beat what’s put in front of you (also true) and folk are still disputing it, as, well, you can’t ever un-paint yourself out of a corner on an anonymous message board, that would never do, so double down! Classic brfcs 😅
  13. Hull were 22nd on appointment, which is what I said, the rest of it are your embellishments. So no Chaddy rabbit hole for me to fall into at half 10 on a school night… nice try though 👍 👌
  14. If you read what I actually posted ‘when he took over’, it wasn’t ‘after he’d had his first game’ Try reading first before you try and be a clever dick.
  15. They were 22nd when he took over… they finished 21st. Survival was obviously the name of the game and they did it, but not exactly some miracle worker.
  16. Cash flow, how else they going to pay the leccy bill for June?
  17. Hang on a minute, Jim, thought you were usually bemoaning ‘nothing southern clubs that have spent most of their time in the third and fourth divisions’ ?
  18. Something to do with ‘stakeholders’, I’d imagine.
  19. Think of the folk we had working there at all levels of decision making roles 25 years ago and compare to now. Who there has a feel for Blackburn Rovers? Its heritage? Its traditions?
  20. The club put effort into 125 as it was a club still in Jack’s image with John Williams and Tom Finn at the fore. They got it as they got the club. 25 years on, just look at the state of the place.
  21. Yep, of course the 150th will have just as much effort put in it as the 125th, I mean, what’s changed?
  22. Two opposing things can have an element of truth in them at the same time, novel, I know.
  23. Would Rovers have got a stroke of luck if we’d had got to the FA Cup final without playing a PL club? Of course. Would that make it any less of an achievement? Of course not.
