  1. Huddersfield have the Dingles away in the cup a week later, which is pretty much a derby, and you imagine tickets will be a fair bit cheaper than £30… so many of their fans may just opt to go there instead. Another Swag masterstroke 👏
  2. I vaguely remember that show. Sky really did have a load of different strands to their coverage in those days ’Andy Gray’s Bootroom’ when he’d talk tactics with a subbuteo board whilst sitting inside a… you guessed it! , was my favourite!
  3. Probably not, but if they think around 2k is what any opposition will fetch that is obviously the entry mark for a Cat A -I.e. West Brom, and bugger trying to get any of your own fans back in the tent around the festive period…
  4. Bank holiday Sunday, good run of form, great opportunity to engage… ah but Huddersfield will likely fetch 2/3k. …And that is where any thought into the pricing starts and ends.
  5. We need to put this one to bed. Does he have raw talent? Yes, but he’s now 24 and still shows no sign of the professionalism needed to make it as a pro. Poor attitude, overweight and now struggling to get into the side at Burton Albion. It’s a shame and a waste, but he isn’t the first and he won’t be the last to find himself out of the game and wondering why he threw it all away…
  6. Reading in The Times this morning that local safety advisor groups will be in charge of the policy and it will probably only be spot checks of passes/LFTs.
  7. He hated L1, he went on record many times how un aesthetically pleasing he found it down there, and that was with a team who obviously were expecting to come straight back up. And Lancs is much closer to Yarm. So a mid table L1 side down in Suffolk who look a fair distance away from promotion doesn’t look exactly enticing. Though it could say something on what he expects next season’s budget to be if he does jump ship from 4th in the Championship (unless he knows no new contract is incoming).
  8. And that fascinating insight into football shirt merchandising and the seemingly unique factors of shirts that are actually liked would be plausible… if we didn’t run out of at least one kit every season.
  9. But then there’s a load of kids in that 10,000, so surely not 2000?
  10. Sorry unless I’m missing something here If 90% are double jabbed and therefore they have the Covid Pass - how are 2000 of our 18+ match goers not eligible for a pass? We are only just scraping past 10,000 to start with!
  11. Or Burnley, Preston, Bolton and most other professional football clubs. For someone who is supposedly repeatedly telling the club about how poor their commercial operation is, he ain’t half defending it on here…
  12. There’s a number of websites these days that offer better quality gifts than that shambolic offering down Ewood. Same old cheap crap for years, and now they can’t even seem to keep the big ticket item that are the kits in stock for more than a few months a year…
  13. Amazes me that so many folk just can’t seem to grasp that some fans aren’t die hards, don’t spend the day on Rovers forums/social media or chatting on WhatsApp groups or even reading the LT articles - they will just dip in and out of the club, go to a game when they fancy, go when they like the price, prefer going away etc etc. Fanbases are made up of all sorts.
  14. You’ve an odd definition of moaning, chadster.
  15. Hang on, haven’t you kept saying that Swag and the whole commercial operation is crap at Ewood? Yet here you are saying fans just won’t put money into the club, so what difference will a better commercial team make then?
  16. You a shareholder of the app developers or what? 😁
  17. ‘I don’t care about what other clubs are doing’ is your usual line, Chaddy. So why you bringing Burnley into this?
  18. Like when he opened the ‘1875 lounge’ in the Darwen End with just the standard concourse cheap lager and ‘dark fruits’ on tap at the usual ridiculous prices. All within a conference type room far more sterile than the not exactly bouncing Blues Bar, and was surprised when no bugger went in it. Get some rotating ales on, open it up for large away followings so they don’t all head for the Fernhurst etc etc etc. All sorts you can do with our existing infrastructure. But nah, all half hearted ‘initiatives’, and shrugged shoulders all round when they don’t work.
  19. Or screen grab it. I went to a gig and knew it would probably have a poor 4g/Wi-Fi connection for connecting to the app.
  20. What a candidate! ’Kean is already at Hibs after taking up a role as Academy director recently but he has top-level managerial experience after a stint in charge of Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League. Kean has an impressive coaching CV too after spells with the likes of Fulham, Real Sociedad and Coventry as well as working abroad in Australia and Brunei.’
  21. ‘I was brought up on the mean streets of Cumbernauld, the east end of Glasgow, Leith’.
  22. Da Vinci, Einstein, Mowbray.
