  1. The way it is these days on social media ‘POSITIVITY’ before any rational thought.
  2. A load of United games go to general sale these days (wonder why?), usually League Cup and Europa games - take it yer man down the pub in Accy will be straight in to buy one?
  3. So we weren’t being ‘OTT’ and ‘negative’, after all then, just ahead of the curve from the club, as we usually are on here…
  4. It was. Can’t think of any more round Blackburn. Had their bottled organic lager and oatmeal stout over Christmas. Cracking beers as their bottled stuff always is. Like I said, really weird set up, though I suppose it comes down from the top .
  5. Once again they get there in the end. Always a song and dance with this lot.
  6. Mattyblue’s Law on East Lancs Glory Hunters: Dickheads who should not be engaged in football chat.
  7. I’m taking about born and bred east Lancs folk as you know. Said persons wouldn’t dream of supporting Rovers, their local club as they are ‘shit’. Like I said such a person is a dickhead and to find said dickheads have a look in the pubs of the area on ‘Super Sundays’, they are full of them (and they largely ain’t folk that have just moved to Livesey or wherever from Newton Heath).
  8. If Chadster’s weekly predictions the last few years had come to pass we’d be Champions League winners by now…. Mark’s, we’d be in the National League.
  9. Someone from east Lancs that decides to support Man Utd or Liverpool is a dickhead, pure and simple.
  10. Man Utd and Liverpool are out on their own in this country when it comes to sheer numbers, there’s millions of them. They pollute every town, city and village, taking the piss out of proper football fans, letting many local club struggle for numbers. Why? Because they are far and away the most successful clubs in England, no great mystery to it.
  11. With a week to go we’d sell a good number more, especially if we win today. Get the netting removed and let’s sell that extra 600, the more Blues in the ground the better. No brainer.
  12. ‘FFS’? Bit rude, Chadster.
  13. Swansea/Cardiff still do… line of stewards. Burnley/Blackburn Rovers at Turf Moor… line of stewards.
  14. We rest a load of players today and as a result don’t win the most winnable game. We then play our best side in the following two against a couple of the league’s best teams and win neither of those too - be a bit silly, wouldn’t it?
  15. If looks like I’m talking to myself earlier up the thread. Why have MCM’s posts been removed?
  16. I’m being positive, I want as many Rovers fans there as possible.
  17. Pretty much every big derby had a shared stand with just a few limes of stewards/coppers separating. Not here though, obviously. Surprised they’ve not put barbed wire/police watch towers up 1970s Belfast style between the three stands.
  18. All so they don’t need to man the away ticket office for a couple of hours.
  19. Of course, but no chance that will happen at this stage, they’ll hide behind ‘safety’ and ‘logistics’, however the JWL and Riverside they have absolutely no excuses for.
  20. But the real win is that we’ve sold a ‘1,000 hospitality places’ as Sufi keeps tweeting… a load of them are to Dingles, but hey ho, think of the strutting him and Swag can do through the lounges in their club ties, never mind the 500 seats you won’t sell to your own fans.
  21. A sensible club would say this today; ”After discussions with the Safety Advisory Group we have now secured a further and *final* release of seats in the Jack Walker Lower and Riverside. On sale now, don’t miss out!” Face saved and as many Rovers fans as possible now get to see the game… of course the likes of Swag and Sufi aren’t interested.
  22. Yep. Like I said the other day month after month the FF minutes note ‘can’t’ on repeat.
  23. Artey the Badge! The original and best.
  24. This turnout has surprised me (massively), but I can’t say the Sunderland game was too surprising. It was our first Boxing Day game (*the* fixture for high attendances across English football) that we could go to at Ewood for 7 years, the team is doing well and it was only priced at Cat B.
  25. Their ground holds 22k, they only have to give 2.2k to away fans as per the EFL regs, they know they can sell 20k tickets to their own fans currently so we get 2.2k. No issue with that, why should they give anymore?
