There aren't many championship sides that don't have a big brute or 2 playing for them. I'm not writing our kids off. Just saying they need help.

Found the Clitheroe team sheet the other day with Dolan playing. Amazing how far he's come so quickly but you're right. We should not be placing the main workload and the burden of expectation on him. What last night showed was that whilst our kids are reasonably skilful and willing they are not ready to face the rigours of Championship football week in, week out without the help and encouragement of some older, more experienced, hard working pros. They need a game plan they can believe in, a leader who encourages and covers for their mistakes and some more physical types to give them space to play.

I wouldn't say I wouldn't go back but I wouldn't want to pay £32 to do so. For a fiver, whilst frustrating, annoying, downright infuriating it wasn't a waste of money. It got me out of the house on a night when I'd otherwise have struggled to find something to watch on TV as my husband doesn't like me watching anything he might want to watch together

Agree with most of the comments here re the match. We started brightly, missed too many chances, got the goal that should have steadied any nerves and should have gone on to win. However, in the second half they went very direct, had some powerful runners, got a couple of lucky bounces and suddenly their tails are up and they score. After that we messed about, playing round the box, back to the keeper, messed up almost every pass and we all knew what was coming. And, to compound the misery, the ladies toilets were blocked and couldn't be flushed. At least I don't have a season ticket.

I don't need to be entertained really. I just need them to look like they are trying. Last time I was there everything looked to be sterile and overcooked. I watch Clitheroe and they're not great but it's 100% effort. that's all I want

I can but I've sort of lost the confidence nowadays. Parking, walking to the ground on your own and especially walking back to the car afterwards. At one time it wouldn't have bothered me but nowadays it does. It's the only night either of us has anywhere else we have to be too.

If you run at pace into the box with the ball, chances are it's a pen. Rovers for many years have lacked a player who would just run at people and take the ball into the box. Why was Greal8sh the most fouled player? Because he carried the ball into dangerous areas and defenders panicked

I dont attend either but I still care. I DO look for results, get excited if we win and would attend some games, especially if Mowbray left. I havent given up all hope yet

I've been running 31 miles in July for Cancer Research UK . I've got the last mile left to run tomorrow. I'm well chuffed with myself for actually running that, for being disciplined enough to do it. I'm not a runner so this has beena huge challenge but I've done it.

Interestingly, I caught a bit of last night's match when my husband left it on, and I was very surprised to hear the commentator using the word overs. Depends how much they've done to engage with fans during lockdowns etc. If they've done well they'll probably have lost fewer fans than if they have not bothered much and just relied on fan loyalty. You simply can't do that nowadays.

Do you really think even a fraction of his fee would be reinvested? And even if it was, do you think Mowbray would invest it well?

I told them I no longer wanted to be on their mailing list a few years back when the only reply I received to a letter explaining my reasons for not buying a season ticket was 'OK. Bye so that's why I don't get mail any more. However, nor does anyone else in my household.
