  1. I'll translate what Kaminski was saying in the clip above: "Shut up you fat burnley bastard"
  2. Sky have a lot to answer for, football on a Monday night was rare before that lot came along..... Definitely taken some the sheen off the tie for me 🙄 Why the tie has any sheen at all is another question, its against 3rd division Wrexham for goodness sake, but I want to spend 90 minutes berating that **** McClean and now I possibly can't go.....
  3. I can't answer the question with just yes or no rigger. If you take this down to barebones - Striker = goals = No, not good enough, I think he scores 1 goal every 4 games. If you look at his all round contribution to the team, every manager has played him out of the wing, his tracking back - Yes I will never criticize any player that is selected to play for Blackburn Rovers and puts in 110% every game, Gallagher falls into that category for me.
  4. Which has nothing to do with Gallagher himself, he clearly is doing his bit as the stats suggest.
  5. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt14452776/ I can’t say I’ve seen The Bear on Netflix, a series the rest of the family keep saying, especially one episode in series 2, is the best bit of Tv they have ever seen! Praise indeed, I’m going to give it a go.
  6. I'd rather have the player right now personally.
  7. We've missed Gallagher whilst he been out injured, I would have thought that was obvious for all to see. I'm not saying don't sell him if a decent offer came in, he's never going to be a 20 goal a season man, but we've missed the lad, we've missed his work ethic and he's a senior member of the squad, we are missing some of them!
  8. Really joey? Turned it on for the cameras in FA Cup I seem to recall, otherwise he was 'injured' or missing. He was one of the worst players ever to pull on the shirt due to his attitude and his refusal to play towards the end of his time here...
  9. The clip is a little long, but you get the drift, my go to chippy in Blackburn
  10. At a a normal club you'd hold on to your prized assets like your life depended on it, sadly we are no longer a normal club. If anyone came in for Wharton today with £20m, that would be reinvested, I'd bite the hand off. Back in the real world, we'll probably sell him anyway and the money will never see the light of day....... Venkys out.
  11. Mods - Can we permanently pin this to the top? Some great clips and archive in here, posters have made a real effort on content.
  12. He’s going to Wednesday the local press claim.
  13. Does your seat face the pitch Rev? This post is bizarre. He won fans player of the year and players player of the year, was called up to the Scotland squad and was our most consistent performer last season. He's been an excellent buy.
  14. Thanks for that tomphil. We are a basket case of a club, so anything is possible, but are we believing the new regime are buying the old regimes targets? I’m not convinced, but its only my opinion. Either way 2 very good signings.
  15. I’m only answering your post marton, it’s how this messageboard stuff works….. As for Broughton on Sammie, I’ve not read the comments you refer to, but don’t tell me, Waggott is taking some of the credit and hammering Gregg in the process? 😂
  16. Broughton signed Sammie Szmodics, who given the circumstances the club now finds itself in, is probably the best pound for pound player we've had in over a decade. He also signed Dominic Hyam who is a very good player too. What you have to understand is all our targets were thrown in the bin in the summer when Venkys turned off the tap, yes he'll have had a plan B and Plan C, but you're shopping in the bargain basement at that stage and its a lottery. On the game yesterday, what's not to like? Sammie getting a hattrick, some great football from Rovers at times and a much deserved home win. As Matty said a few pages back, if you don't enjoy that yesterday why bother.....
  17. Absolutely. I do wonder why Broughton would have persuaded Batth, knowing he was 30+ and he didn't fit the model.
  18. They've conceded less goals than us but that isn't really the point. As 47er says we need experience in this squad, he would have brought that, but our owners know better and continue to meddle in 1st team affairs.
  19. I don't disagree, JDT tried to bring in the experienced Danny Batth on a free from Sunderland in the summer, but the owners refused because of his age, he went to Norwich instead. With Venkys extensive footballing knowledge it seems that rule extends to loan signings too, thankfully we are in good hands, what wonderful owners we have 🙄
  20. Ah, sorry I misunderstood the point your were making, yes me and you are goosed, far to invested in Venky hatred and such like 🤣
  21. For many yes it is, I know many fans who fit into that mould, I also know many fans who just want to watch games, any games, doesn't have to be a supported team.
  22. When push comes to shove its all about supporting Blackburn Rovers the football team, not spending hour after hour sat in an armchair on the internet slagging of people in suits many have never met (I'm guilty too). As Ossy says above, enjoy the game, after all this is what its all about isn't it? Rovers 3 Cambridge 1
  23. I've calmed down a bit since yesterday on the Travis departure, now we have a few more of the facts. Its seems like JDT has sanctioned the move unlike the Buckley debacle and Travis wants out to play regular football and nothing wrong with that. Broughton has a very good record spotting players in my opinion, lets hope the 2 new lads are as good and help maintain our Championship status.
