I've calmed down a bit since yesterday on the Travis departure, now we have a few more of the facts. Its seems like JDT has sanctioned the move unlike the Buckley debacle and Travis wants out to play regular football and nothing wrong with that. Which game? The reason for asking is you seem to be an expert on current player fitness, something you’d only know about if you actually attended games regularly in my opinion. Watching them tracking back against Watford especially was telling and the games are coming thick and fast. It’s not the only reason the side is struggling, but it’s one major factor for me, these players are running on empty, the side is lacking quality too, due to the owners pulling the budget in the summer and we are where we are. Some tripe being talked on here, just for context, thanks to JH: 1) The budget was slashed mid-transfer window with zero warning from India, all targets cancelled. 2) Despite claims to the contrary, it was confirmed that there was an embargo on signings in place, which was so strict that it even prevented us signing Batth on a free/low cost short deal from Sunderland even though JDT had identified him as what was needed in defence. The owners once again have shafted the manager and his colleagues, like they did with Mowbray at the back end of his time here, meddling in first team affairs, like they did appointing Coyle over Warnock, like they did backtracking on promises to Lambert and selling players like Cairney behind Bowyers back. Nothing improves until those rats sod off.

Absolutely. We ended up with JDT by chance, the current leadership had probably never heard of him. Now that we've got him, the club are taking him for a mug and its only a matter of time until he leaves. When that happens we'll end up with another journeyman, Gary Rowett or someone of his ilk, so my advice would be to enjoy the current football on offer, as this is as good as it gets under these owners.
