But ultimately the buck stops with the owners, they appoint mediocrity and this doesn't improve until they sod off. VENKYS OUT! -

How can you ignore football? Massive budgets with awful owners and inept execs in every walk of life returns mediocrity and bankruptcy, ask Philip Green, CITI Group, Chrysler, the list is endless. But we digress. -

I have to take exception with this, as Blackburn Rovers supporters we should NEVER expect promotion, we've had 5/6 in 50yrs. Clubs like Wednesday, Sunderland, Pompey and Ipswich also have the biggest budgets, but can't get promoted, it was an achievement, one that will last in the memory for the rest of my life thats for sure. But thats doesn't take away from current goings on. -

Did the commentator just mention ‘It’s a big summer for Blackburn and Mbappe’ in the sentence? Maybe he knows something….. -

Thats Allardyce not going to burnley then.....next. -
This is burnleys ‘Allardyce’ moment. I despised the man, but replacing him with that ****** Kean was diabolical. Foreign owners eh? Don’t you just love em….

Not if those comments are racist and insulting to the Asian community he hasn't.

I'm probably the last person that would be accused of 'illusions of grandeur' but Mark Robins? I can't knock the reasoning tomphil, his record and hunger to succeed alone would give us chance, but it just doesn't sit right to me, we should be looking for better than him, we should be looking for better than any manager we've had in the past 11yrs, but we know in our heart of hearts this doesn't get any better until they sod off. Any manager that comes in now would need to rebuild, where are the funds coming from? The taps been turned off completely, they even refused to lay a new pitch in the summer. I fear a Paul Lambert scenario, tell a new manager fibs in his interview, "We'll back your plans Paul Lambert" then refuse to take his phone calls, the rest is history. Its been many a year since I've come away from Ewood with a smile on face as often as this season, having seen some really good games, some great young players and a team for most of the season on the up. Yes its disappointing that we fell away, but its not unique, especially when resources are tight and money is missing. I'm not saying keep Mowbray, I think he's done a decent job working for absent meddling owners, but in the current climate I don't think we get any better, but we certainly could very easily get worse.

What a depressing read. These owners are not interested in who manages the club as the last 11yrs shows. We need someone who is willing to work with 1 hand tied behind his back, right now I'd take Mowbray over the dross in this thread, he's tried and tested and will tide us over until these reprobates sod off. The alternative could be Phil Brown, you heard it hear first 😉
