It’s nailed on. It’s a Mercer tip. -

We should set up a BRFCS accumulator. A commitment from each member to add £1 per league game to a Mercer correct score bet. See where we end up. -

Ayala when fit is one of the best centre backs in the league and would get into most teams. Hugely experienced, multiple promotion winner and captain. He’s worth the risk for me, if we get him starting 32 games (or whatever the average earlier in this thread) he will pay for himself. -

My team, in order of preference.. Kaminski, Pears, Stergiakis Nyambe, JRC Lenihan, Wharton Ayala, Williams Douglas, Bell Holtby, Buckley Rothwell Johnson, Trybull Elliot, Dolan Arma, Gallagher Brereton Subs - keeper, JRC, fit centre back, Buckley, Trybull, Dolan, Dack (bring him on for a minute...) -
I said this yesterday - they said he was capable of huge errors when under pressure... doesn’t feel like the same person?

Rovers v QPR Sat 7th November

I’d just like to take this moment to admire the technique shown by Kaminski on that left hand. Not often you see that level of punch without a pay per view. -

Wharton can’t pass but this is two games in a row he’s looked a decent defender. Playing well here, we need to capitalise. Buckley playing OK but needs to impose himself on the game if he’s playing the Holtby role. We look much better with Kaminski and Johnson involved. -
Rovers v Middlesbrough Tuesday 3rd November

At this point I would take any manager that could assure me we would play our strikers as strikers and never take a short free kick again. -

This is insane. I can’t work out the formation, but more than that we have absolutely no shape. How they haven’t scored I’ll be damned. It’s like we’re playing without a midfield. -

I know it’s horses for courses, but I would much prefer 4-2-3-1 with the starting line up. The three bring Brereton, Elliot, Dolan. -

Pears getting targeted by Boro (Warnock). The sooner Kaminski is back the better. Dolan too lightweight - is he playing central midfield here? Can’t work it out. We seem to have both Dolan and Brereton on the left side of the pitch? -

Game over. Buckley bullied in midfield, loses the ball, Joao scores. -

Coventry v ROVERS
J*B replied to Hoochie Bloochie Mama's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
In most cases the way we play means that Bell could come on after 60 minutes and do a job. The opposition will be tired from the high press and counter attack and, often, losing. If Douglas can play 60 mins every week I’ll be happy. The above is the same reason why IMO Buckley needs to go out on loan. Coming on after 60/70 minutes he looks the part. However he’s playing against tired teams that are losing. We’ve seen against Watford that when he starts he’s a weak point. Not his fault, he’s still young and doesn’t have his man strength. But I can’t see how he starts for us. I’m looking forward to eventually seeing: Travis Holtby Rothwell (or even Dack!). -

...when the manager picks the right team. Here’s hoping we carry on starting the Douglas’ and Trybull’s rather than Bell and Evans. -

Brereton is superb. -
Yeah, in the U21s. He’s not physically up to this league. A luxury player that has zero influence on the game. I suspect we won’t see him for a while the way Mowbray reacted to his substitution. A huge opportunity for him wasted today.

BUCKLEY? You’re trolling!
