  1. No he hasn’t - but at least with JRC it COULD be a tactical decision (eg an attacking move against a ‘weaker’ club).
  2. I mind this less. If it was Bennett it can only be favouritism.
  3. If this is correct and he’s been dropped it’s insane.
  4. Yep — I think the signings we’ve made are great. Kaminski looks good. Ayala as good as anyone in the division. Manning a huge improvement. Nyambe first choice. Garner didn’t come off, but if he’s the sort of midfielder we’re looking for then great. Dack to return with a point to prove.
  5. I think we will be in a lot of close wins/draws for the first half of the season, 1-0, 1-1, 2-1, with Armstrong carrying us, then Dack will come back late November and start being the difference. As long as we don’t have any big injuries or suspensions we will do well. Travis is a huge loss, we can’t afford another. We have a top-six first 11 and a mid table squad.
  6. We will go up this year. Save this quote for April.
  7. EFL clubs need an approved/qualified CEO to run them. It’s a requirement from the league for each club. I know the photos of weeds outside the ground resulted in a strongly worded email to everyone involved saying it was unacceptable. I don’t think Swag has any choice but to put the prices up. I think his remit has been to increase the amount of money each fan puts into the club - there’s only a couple of ways to do that. To their credit, without Swag and Mowbray pushing, I suspect everything would take 100% longer to be actioned and money to be spent in the wrong areas.
  8. Direct quotes: Suhail is top dog. If you want change at the club... I’d advise turning the spotlight on the man who turns everything to shit.
  9. Yes Swag publicly takes the blame for a lot of Suhail/Venky made decisions.
  10. I know it’s really fun to blame Swag, but he really isn’t the problem and will be retiring soon. Suhail is the problem, he slows everything down and despite being the most senior person at the club bar Venkys, has very little footballing knowledge. We’re better with Swag than without.
  11. I’ve just seen your company now sponsor the club website. Is this some sort of trolling to announce that, that I can’t find the link to?
  12. You’re looking at about 300 grand..! There was a poster on here that used to watch the final training session every week from his bedroom window and post what the team was going to be.
  13. The return of Gareth Ainsworth. Rovers have been refused to become a pilot scheme for this game, so no fans will be attending. ST holders will be able to watch via iFollow as part of their ticket, I assume everybody else can if they pay for a £10 match pass. If you do intend on buying a match pass buy it in advance and test it out or risk iFollow chaos close to the game. Wycombe are going to want a fight. Sadly, I suspect after not playing in 2020, Ayala won't be ready for a fight. Travis, our head fighter, is injured for the foreseeable. With that in mind, I would go.. Kaminski Nyambe Lenihan Williams Bell Davenport Holtby Evans Brereton Gallagher Armstrong
  14. You're not a stranger here, we've seen the nonsense which you have posted on your previous account and have seen the hateful posts which you've made on your personal social media accounts. You're not welcome on this website.
  15. Which ones Tombo?
  16. Big mistake from Dolan there. Hope he learns from it rather than let’s it hang over him.
  17. Twitter says Raya set to move to Arsenal, 8.5m upfront, deal up to 13m. Yikes.
  18. Oh Tony. The clock is really ticking here.
  19. My bad, he went to Saudi, Kim Jin Su.
  20. I would have loved us to sign Ayala because I think he’s a fantastic CB. But if he’s going to play for money in Saudi then we don’t need that sort of player here. No news from me. I’ve only known two targets, one Spaniard (assumed Ayala) and one left back, who signed for a Chinese club instead.
  21. I didn’t say that. I said on Thursday I had been told it may have been Alex Gorrìn. On Friday I said I didn’t think it was him.
  22. Ayala had his medical early last week. That’s exactly what I posted on here - Spaniard had a medical on Tuesday, due to sign Wednesday... then nothing.
  23. I’ve learnt this is a very dangerous approach to take.
  24. Suhail is 100% in the building at the moment.
  25. As far as I’m aware, the real hold up comes from Suhail. He’s the one that the Ewood staff think is responsible for things going to shit. The policy seems to be Venus identifies targets, Mowbray puts them to Waggot (affectionally known as Swag internally), Swag does the negotiation then refers it up to Suhail. Theoretically all that work can be done and then it can be kiboshed at the top. It shouldn’t get to that level and then have anything but an approval.
