  1. do we need alot of signings this summer? Current squad for next season keepers - Pears, Wahlstedt, Michalski Defenders - Brittain, Carter, Hyam, Wharton, O'Riordan, Pickering, CM's - Tronstad, Garrett, Buckley, JRC, Travis wide players - Dolan, Markanday, Sigurdsson, Hedges, no 10 - Szmodics, Gilsenan Strikers - Gallagher, Vale, Telalovic, Leonard I have included Dolan and Gallagher cos I expect them to sign next contract. I think we deffo need a pacey wide player, Striker, right back, maybe another Keeper if we loan out Wahlstedt for a season, I would use Gent at left back back up given the reviews he had there, could do with another centre back or maybe re sign McFadzean for another season. Then a replacement for Szmodics if he does leave. Nicholas Michalski?
  2. Surely it was GB who give the board of directors which was probably Waggott, Pasha(unofficially), Silvester and Cheston to decide which way they went to replace JDT. I think Eustace was the best candidate out there not in work we could have got. (don't have any knowledge of foreign head coaches who haven't worked in English football)
  3. I would be tempted to start with the same 11 if possible but play more attacking wise.
  4. watched it this morning and I just think where can you go now with both keepers who has been dropped this season. He dropped Muric at the start of the season and recently dropped Trafford. I wonder if they change tactics next season when they are in the championship
  5. Batty has clearly backwards this season and clearly not ready for first team squad duties. Maybe he needs a fresh start and first team football next season
  6. Stockport and Wrexham promoted from league 2 to league 1
  7. Yes fair point there. Maybe he had doubts after we signed Sigurdsson whether he would play much this season. Reason for the delay maybe
  8. I think we will see a very different team under Eustace next season after a full pre season, bringing in his own players and shaping his own squad. exactly and a point I made several times on here allowing him some time to get his ideas into the players. I agree. I am still buzzing and smiley big after yesterday good performance, winning at Leeds and another clean sheet.
  9. as GB said in his interview that there is a contract offer on the table for Dolan to re-sign here. Dolan has been waiting to see what division we would be in before committed his future here but I expect he will re-sign here
  10. Maybe Batty hasn't got a chance cos he got too big for his boots and got an attitude problem which has stopped his development. Him storming off the pitch when subbed in the last under 21's game will do nothing for him
  11. I guess they will wait to see what division we are in. With the new TV deal coming in which guarantee championship clubs more money each season, I would use £1m of it to lower the cost of ST and match day prices. Already stated what I would charge for ST and match day prices. It should be about selling 12k season ticket and making it more affordable to families and people on low incomes next season.
  12. It will be very interesting how GB and Eustace reshaped this squad and it is clear what I think we need going forward. A quality striker, wide player with pace, right back to back up Brittain, possible replacement for Szmodics plus anyone else we lose. Gent will be back up for Pickering at left back/wing back
  13. great to see you praise Eustace for the win at Leeds. Well done sir I agree that some of the flak and comments about Eustace has been OTT and disproportionate. It was clear that Eustace needed to fix the defence and stop us leaking goals after goals. He had to steadied the ship and pick up points. He has done that. At times it hasn't been good watch and yesterday I thoroughly enjoyed how we defended as a team, put our bodies on the line and look to play on the counter. It was great seeing Leeds fans moan and complain yesterday I think some fans took him and some didn't. There is a guy who sits in front who never took to him and still wants Mowbray back. I think some fans didn't like JDT's style of football and didn't enjoy play that way.
  14. He deserved huge credit and praise for today's victory as do the players for executing his plan for the match.
  15. no Abbey. Don't do anything like that either and never have. Don't need any of that stuff in my body. time to admit you were wrong about Rovers, Hyam and Eustace today after our win at Leeds today
  16. Hyam proved his doubters wrong today. Very good today
  17. Thanks for that. I expected a reaction after Wednesday night which wasn't like this team and they stood up and made it count. This claim that these players are soft has be proved wrong cos you don't go to Leeds and defended as a team and win until you stand up and play as a team.
  18. is that your response to everything Abbey? I have told you more than once I don't drink alcohol anymore. More to life for me like enjoying watching my Rovers team win. I will be celebrate the win today with Meat feast pizza and Bottle of Pepsi Max
  19. Thrilled and delighted with today win. We defended as a team and everyone of those players played for the fans and Eustace. Our shape was very good. The defenders were excellent today and Hyam was back to his good self. Carter did excellent after his booking in the first half. Brittain and Pickering did excellent against their wingers/full backs We had the best 2 chances today and Leeds ended up diving and trying to win a penalty which none were. Eustace got his tactics spot on. Excellent finish by Szmodics by great play by Dolan after Gallagher wins the header. I think I never shouted so much after that when in. The Rovers fans at Elland Road were loud and proud. Delighted for the fans, the players and Eustace. Great 3 points. Rovers till I die 🔵⚪ Eustace's Blue and White Army 🔵⚪
  20. no one mentioned Waggott apart you Abbey. People can only afford to move where they can afford to buy, not everyone can afford brand new houses in the Ribble Valley or outskirts of Blackburn Rovers for 200k plus.
  21. Abbey, different opinions. That its. I like Hyam and no one complained about Hyam's performance after the Sunderland or Southampton. one bad performance and result, its full meltdown on here.
  22. The Bristol City game has gone. It was very poor performance and result. simple as. Move on. Also don't forget this Leeds team couldn't beat Sunderland at home whilst we just beat them 5-1. excellent from every single one of those Rovers fan
