  1. Cos the rumours of him telling the players post Coventry game he was going(source is @J*B) The info posted by @Paul Mani and another poster here from what Rothwell's father told them. Then you add his comments in the media, his all demeanour looks like a man who is ready to leave and most important wants to go. Plus the fact how angrily and quickly he reacted yesterday when the Rovers fans rightly got on his back cos of the performance and team selection
  2. Rumours from decent/good posters. Look at Paul Mani's post over a friend of his going for a job at Rovers and being told that the job is on hold cos of uncertain of Mowbray's future. Dyche ain't coming here. simple as. I can see Burnley not wanting to pay the 15 million straight away and keep paying him monthly until he finds a new club but he will not find another club where he has the same amount of footballing control as he had at Burnley under their previous owner.
  3. I think Lenihan will sign a new deal after the season ends but he has tested the waters to what better offers are out there. I can see Garrett staying here and being part of the squad but we need to be appoint a new manager/head coach asap Joe works in Football and If the club is Watford they won't be in the PL next season. They clearly are looking at players for next season in the championship and they director of football and his recruitment team will be doing their homework despite whether Hodgson stays or not
  4. You would have thought they would have someone lined up as the replacement for Dyche.
  5. Posted on another Rovers forum so I will post it on here, don't know whether it true or not. "Rovers fans told by Mowbray to “f**k off” whilst walking to his car after the game tonight."
  6. Birmingham are in a biggest mess than us. WBA won't be far us tbh. Given the info that we spoke to certain managers like Alex Neil, Chris Wilder, Mark Hughes, Nathan Jones that maybe we have moved on from that agency now.
  7. Depends who the person is. Maybe someone like Sabri Lamouchi
  8. why does Rothwell's father need to lie to Rovers fans? A proper footballing and Business CEO has been needed for years. Plenty of good people out there. Appoint a head hunting firm to find one. If we had appointing one over the years we wouldn't be losing so much money each season and we might actually be back in the PL by now.
  9. very good post there @glen9mullanon Mowbray and the situation. He bought in Giles and Hedges in January but he has failed to get them to made an instant impact when that's was needed. Giles's strength is his crossing so why not play him with left side midfield with Gallagher or Brereton up front and get the crosses in. Hedges look good yesterday and had an impact on then game and almost scored but why hasn't Mowbray played him more.
  10. Looks like Burnley will look to foreign manager to Dyche will after talks with Allardyce didn't go anyway, Rooney is staying at Derby, Wilder and Jones will stay at their clubs. Didn't someone predict on here that Allardyce would take over with Rooney taking over in the summer?
  11. I wasn't surprised cos it been like that in recent games. When the crowd did get on Mowbray's back with sort it Mowbray he reacted angrily to it
  12. Rooney's comments to their fans after yesterday relegation
  13. I agree that the players have to take some resposnible and blame here but they don't pick the tactics or team selection or where they are playing. Mowbray admitted post match yesterday that he was too loyal to some players and that why is wouldn't switch from back 5 to back despite it not working for weeks on end. He has to take most of the blame for being stubborn and not adapt his tactics. Mowbray has to go now. The players we signed on loan aren't hardly kids are they. These loan players were in early 20's. Mowbray's mention this kids thing yesterday and its getting my nerves him keep mentioning it when its Mowbray's inability and stubborn with tactics why we done so poorly. No one is to blame in the main but Mowbray But Mowbray has had more than enough backing over the last 5 years to get us promotion and to be honest I am fed up with his excuses now. Huddersfield didn't spend anything on transfer fees but are 3rd in the league now. Its time the excuses stopped and Mowbray should shoulder the blame for our drop off for the past 4 months and took ownership and responsibility for it
  14. Please don't take away some hope of a very good appointment so early on in the summer. Venkys give managers time and money is one of key factor in maybe Farke being interested plus our academy is producing good players.
  15. You are still paying Mowbray's wages whether you keep him or sack him now. But I agree that the owners need to planning for Mowbray's replacement and talking to potential candidates right now No it isn't that simple if we watched us at the start of the season we were pressing teams high, chasing the ball down and that is what was so impressive wins over Cardiff and Swansea at home. Then went we went on our unbeaten and impressive run was how we were solid and defence tight. Now the centre back are too wide and too many gaps between them. We don't press teams anymore. Plus more tinkering from Mowbray over the 2 forwards role and Buckley's role aswell
  16. WBA link to Mowbray taking the job there is a open secret according to Rich Sharpe and maybe there is meat on their bones to this story then some believe.
  17. Mowbray has said no contract talks have taken place yet and as Rich Sharpe is saying he doesn't want to talk about it
  18. I think Paul Collingwood would be good white ball coach and there is Mark Robinson who is Warwickshire head coach. Vikram Solanki is another name but he has gone to become head f cricket at one of IPL team and I can't see leaving that.
  19. Rob Key to target Ricky Pointing and Gary Kirsten as the next test Head coach. Mahela Jayawardene, 'likely to be approached to coach the white-ball team England eyeing ex-Australia captain Ricky Ponting as Test coach: Report (msn.com)
  20. Here is an article on the formation and how Farke plays tactical for those who don't know much about him Daniel Farke – Norwich – Tactical Analysis – The MastermindSite
  21. He has go to India first and has Mowbray repeating new contract talks have taken place fair enough. I trust Josh wouldn't posted misinformation and does have sources at the club
  22. He has been posted on here by Josh that Mowbray is off and has took the players this. Also tied up with Paul and another person info. Plus I don't see him going to India after he blown our best hope of promotion. Do you?
