I wonder why Wigan picked Toure in the first place. Also maybe they should have stayed with Leam Richardson in the first place -

I think someone mentioned on here before about signing Fulham striker Muniz on loan if Boro and Fulham terminate his loan agreement there. He could be option for us -

Anyone read the stories that Bielsa wouldn't take over as first team head coach until the summer but would work with the under 21 and academy players whilst an interim manager would take charge of the first team until the summer. Utter bizarre if the reports are true and you can see why they aren't going to appoint him there. Surprised that Everton didn't have a head coach lined up straight away after Lampard sacking. Still need a couple of attacking signings Think working under Eddie Howe there will help him develop and learn his game more. Seems like he wants out of Everton now -

Hibs Striker Kevin Nisbet would be good signing for us now his move to Millwall has fallen through. Not sure we can afford it financially listening to JDT's Radio Lancs interview but he wants a number 9 striker in so it will be interesting last few days of the window to see who we sign. @JoeHyou make some excellent points early today regarding our recruitment department works and about data used here. -
Looking forward to attending tomorrow game and sitting in Jack Walker upper for the first time in years. I did fancy a change of seat and different view point for the game from my regular seat in Blackburn End no2

Like I said Mercer, we don't know what is going on behind the scenes and I think we will signings we won't link with. We don't if Gelhardt was even first choice but he isn't a number 9 which I think we need. I think we will still sign at least 2 more. On Thomas, I think if he does well here we will sign him permanent in the summer. -

Why judge now when clearly none of us know who we want. Time to judge is 1st February and not now. Thomas's transfer came out of nowhere and I expect similar with the striker target and other players we want. -
I thought the interview was really good and very insight to how he works for Rovers. He doesn't have an input into the first team games

Welcone to the club Sorba Thomas. I hope Sorba Thomas can have a positive impact on the season now and get us a playoff place now. If he does well then I hope we agreed fee in place just not announced so far. He could replace BBD positional and then we could sign 20 goal striker then to replace BBD overall -

He has played wide left in his career and depending what the terms of the agreement is I think we are looking at him replacing BBD positional in the team. Our Head of Recruitment Gus Williams knows him from Wales days. They signed Knockhart to play there How do you know he won't score goals here? -

We are replacing him positionally with the aim of bringing a striker to replace his goals I would suggest. Also don't BBD was our main goal threat until last season and someone very few people had faith in him. -

Sorba Thomas was a key player in the Huddersfield team that reached their playoffs. He's good player who will improve how set play qualities. Lets wait and see what the agreement is and what is announce when he signs first before we all start kick off over terms we simply don't know about yet. Was only 2 hours ago we didn't even know we were signing him. I think we are looking at this player to replace BBD next season when he goes to Villareal in the summer. Could be loan with perm deal in the summer of around 1 to 2 mil. So the money will come out of next season budget not this one. I did say people need to be patience and we would sign quality players before the window ends which this is one of. Lets see who else we sign before the deadline -

Until this is sorted out you could appoint any manager but no one is going to achieve much there. They have plenty of managers including Ancelotti who is one of the best managers ever struggled to make much an impact on. Its now day 5 and they seen one signing who had a medical last week there gone elsewhere now Lampard has been sacked. The entire club is a mess there from top to bottom -

Glad to see you backing the club you support. Who says Curtis is even a target? Thanks for the link. I hoping its attacking player. Undav would be great but I'm sure they are plenty of players we looking at that aren't in the public domain -

Not talking about Lampard but my points is about the club strategy and they way they just hiring and firing managers without any sort of strategy in place who to replace them with. No coherent plan from the owner and boardroom. Lets see who they appoint now. -

King Kenny, Hughes, Souness all did much better than him here and we played attacking football. Big Sam didn't want to be Rovers long term as he always thought he was better than he was. Our problem was who replaced him not getting rid of him. -

Yet again, my point was about the lack of coherent strategy and plan from the Everton owner and board who seems to have no plan or who to appoint as Lampard succession. That why Everton are in this mess because of this lack of strategy from him and the Boardroom. I have said the the Everton owner has put the club up for sale today Everton put up for sale by Farhad Moshiri for £500m as Frank Lampard sacked (msn.com) Yes Gordon is that crap a top 4 team Newcastle wants him. 🤔 Under Howe, he will be develop and learn alot under his leadership and management.
