  1. Cos this lack of communication between the owners and manager happened twice before with Bowyer and Lambert. Mowbray admitted this about a month I think that he doesnt have direct contact with the owners anymore and deals with Pasha now. The last 4 managers have come from that agency. No reason to think it wont again. He has felt the pressure for weeks now. Probably since that Reading game. His comments are directly towards the owners and not the fans cos of the lack of direct contact. He has felt the pressure the media and some question over his future. Its one win in 14 games which is unacceptable. He said he had built a top 6 quality team this season. his words. We are 17th in the league which is unacceptable totally. Of course he is under pressure from them after they backed his slow plan and backed him financially in terms of transfer fees and wages. Do you think they bankrolled it to finish 17th in the league? If you think he will be here next season fine BUT others don't including myself. I know your view already so why keep posting it?
  2. Yes excellent news Rev. Thankyou for writing the letter aswell which I signed. I hope you still send it in to Waggott. The trio should be sack immediate. Even proposing this idea was wrong and embarrassing for the club. I'm pleased that fans and residents told the club how we felt. I think its the owners who have played a part by rejecting the proposals cos we would lose the Academy status of Cat 1 and they have invested all the time in making sure we keep this every season and we meet all the criteria. Plus Pasha is here which has causes problems for the trio. Also they have upset the Brockhall residents massively plus alot of the fans Mowbray wanted to move the senior team down to the academy site full time despite the Senior training centre being state of the art facility for ages. I think he is obsess with people watching training from their houses and he believe training should be out of sight of people.
  3. I've seen clips of him but not enough live games to form an opinion
  4. Think the decision to sack him has been made but cos we used HSH agency if they dont have a suitable candidate might be why hes not gone yet.
  5. I agree he is under pressure for weeks..around the game against Reading game his comments make it sound a man under pressure. Then recently.its like he been trying to talk the owners through the media cos he no longer has direct contact with the owners as everything has to go through Pasha now.
  6. Can you explain where you are excited by this player? I seen the work Andy Watson did last summer. Looking forward to the same detail scouting reporting as last summer as this summer
  7. Mowbray admitted a few weeks ago he doesn't speak direct to the owners but just to Pasha Is this a sign he has lost the owners trust? He is under huge pressure IMO. His comments for weeks have back this point up in my opinion
  8. Mercer, please keep posting your info. No need to leave the messageboard.. Owners need to be results driven based. Performance can be good but doesnt get any points on the board. Results do. Mowbray a manager job is to get results. Simple as. He is getting more and delude every day..😡
  9. I would be given him more than short term contract. 2 years contract minimum Ayala should have never been signed. Johnson and Evans should be let go in the summer
  10. So why is he still there Mercer given your info?
  11. Would you take Rosler as Mowbray's replacement?.
  12. Would represent poorly on Mowbray! Yes he would be. I've watched since his under 18's days. Talent is there. It's his 1st full professional season at this level. Would play him further forward. Yes I would be gutted.
  13. Oh I agree but we arent a team that's created loads of chances or goals either We need change formation and style to get more out of players like Dolan, Gallagher, JRC. I agree he would get a different option up front. Agree someone will sign him
  14. Both have 2 goals each in the last 12 games and both mainly playing wide in front 3
  15. You never heard of Stuart Webber? Was at Huddersfield when they got promoted under Wagner. Left Them for Norwich where he has 1 promotion achieved and set for another one. He appointed Farke there aswell. I have posted different articles and videos on him. Maybe by their background in previous Direction of football roles. We have director of football like Simon Hunt and Paul Senior before never give them the power to make decisions or time. Like at WBA who has Luke Dowling as director of football who was here as Head of recruitment under Appleton..
  16. Look at Webber and Farke successful setup in director of footbal/head coach structure Look at Norwich City or Brentford with their director of football like Stuart Webber or Phil Giles of successful director of football/head coach. Waggott isnt a director of football operations tho. I would sack him too with Mowbray and Venus. We give Mowbray full control of football matters, 20 millions in fees, plus wages and in 3 seasons we aren't better off.
  17. I've see highlights of him. He seems a very different to Armstrong but someone who could get us a plan B or even start in a front 2 with pacey striker. Hopefully we have strikers line up to replace him. I agree we have to be smart and clever in the market. We need to make some defensive signings aswell as other areas. You have suggest Kirk from Crewe before..I would look at Ben Thompson from Millwall who is out of contract and someone who would add goals from our midfield
  18. I think if l tempt to look at Thomas Henry from OH Leuven in Belgium. 21 goals in 29 games this season. Don't know if would qualify for a permit. Maybe @JoeHcould tell us
  19. I agree on those 3. But the only two I would be sorry or annoyed to see go is JRC and Nyambe. Losing him Stoke would be a blow as I can see Michael O'Neill improving him defensive.
  20. Its can a disaster but just look successful its been for Norwich. Alot of PL clubs have then. We have a manager now in charge of footballing matters and the recruitment of players has been appalling to be fair, the manager isn't accountable to anyone at the club I think we would be better served with director of football operations and head coach who he selects. Also a lot of foreign head coaches aren't used to be in charge of signings or even involved in recruitment. Plus with a DoF in place its allow that head coach to focus on the training and tactics on the field and get results right. It's all depends on whether we could get Wilder or Hughes in who wouldn't a DoF in place or an coach who wants that in place
  21. I agree with bring in a new CEO with no connections to anyone at the club or even promote Ian Slivester who is very experience in Football. He can't be any worst than Waggott and Shaw can he? Venkys should have had a director of football operations for years now. I am in favour of us appoint to oversee the football operations. He would be in charge of signing players, contracts and negotiations of transfers and players. Then appoint a head coach for on the field matters like Training and tactics. Its works at some EFL clubs and alot of European clubs have this same model.
  22. When Mowbray has gone Still going on and on. give it a rest. its was a joke exactly Pete. Sometimes things change last minute or people change their mind cos of something or someone actions or opinion. Roversfan99 need to accept that and people cant always share their sources for a reason or reasons do you trust him?
  23. With People with info and even little tit bits of rumours. So please posting them @oldjamfan1, @Mercer, @J*B, @Bbrovers2288 and any others I've missed out.
