Mowbray is the main problem and his 3 years of recruitment that overall hasn't improve our position and in fact this summer we are going to lose a couple of talented players who are out of contract this summer plus need a total rebuild this summer. If its not Mowbray's fault then who to blame? Owners have provided Mowbray with another financial backing in 3 seasons to get us promote. I already know your view on that but Venkys have done twice previously as stated with Appleton and Bowyer. Who knows if he will be here next season. They will be end of the season review for sure . Mowbray wont be going to India this summer either and has already said he has only speak to Pasha now. Not directly to the owners. Does this Owners have lost faith in Mowbray now? Similar to Bowyer situation. Mowbray knows the way the owners work by now and you can keep making excuses after excuses for him, but to be honest I am bored of listening and reading them. Our recruitment department should have different lists with different price region for each position we need players for. If anything Mowbray should know his first, second and third targets for each position we need players for on different price lists right now.

Henderson wont be fit so its looks like Rice and Phillips. Until they play against them we wont know. Sterling and Foden can run in behind like they do for City.. Will Saka, Rashford and Sancho be fit by then?
-
Here I suggested playing 4-3-3 with Foden, Rice and Mount in midfield 3 https://www.brfcs.com/forums/topic/32147-premier-league-stuff/?do=findComment&comment=2183727

Mount can play there and could be discipline in there. I really dont think Centre midfield is a problem. Against the major nations Rice and Philips will play. Right way probably allowing Mount, Foden and Sterling behind Kane I dont see France as Favourite at all. Probably Belgium. But the Euros will be wide open especially with the pandemic around in mainland Europe.
-
Coming around to my way of thinking about Mount playing the deeper midfield role with Rice.
-
Cos we have a talent squad.. Looking at the Major countries who should be favourite then?
-
Why is Boothroyd not picked Eberechi Eze Conor or Gallagher or Dwight McNeil or Curtis or Max Aarons or Lloyd Kelly?
-
He authorised the signing. We have recruitment department for a reason. To find players. Thats your opinion that he hasn't contributed that much really. Do the data and stats back that up?

Mowbray is the manager and he is charge of getting results. He has failed to get good results for a top 6 finish which the aim was. He should be sack. All 3 players should have been offered new contracts 12 to 18 months ago. Maybe instead of keep calling people naïve(something you keep doing to posters and boring now!) and actually look at why players like JRC, Nyambe and Rothwell won't sign new contracts? Even tho the owners have done it twice before. Appleton and Bowyer. Mowbray didn't go to India last summer and wont this summer due to the pandemic. You keep defending Mowbray over this but he had 3 seasons now. Where the top 6 finish Mowbray promise this past summer? Do you want him sack or keep him? I have my views on the manager situation and different ways we could have change manager and appoint a caretaker till the summer and appoint a full time manager then Mowbray's recruitment has been more than poor. You can keep blaming the owners all you want but Mowbray has been backed in terms of finances. He has been allowed 3 seasons to build a top 6 quality and he said he had this season. How wrong he was? He deserve the sack simple as. There is no naivety in my post at all. Naivety comes from yourself. Thats what a recruitment departments. Identify players that fit within the budget and the type of players want within the formation and style the manager/head coach plays. Its down to Mowbray, Venus and Waggott to make it happen not the recruitment department as they have done their job. Look at how clubs like Norwich, Brentford and Barnsley do it. We are far too slow getting the job done without hope what do we have?

Its appears England will play 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 today

That's why Rovers have scouting and recruitment department at the club? To find hidden gems which Dolan is. I was at the Under 18's cup game with Rovers and PNE, and Dolan didn't stand out but thats why you don't base an scouting report on one game but a series of games. Why would Mowbray be scouting a Preston under 18's for a first team player? why is that?
-
Why? Does Bennett went to keep travelling and being away from his family now after this season? Surely he will find a club closer to his home in the Midlands. Linked with Shrewsbury in January. Maybe he is going there. Waggott and Mowbray don't seem to being rushing at all. If Anything its like Mowbray isn't interested or bothered at all. Our Recruitment department will have a series of players for each positions in different price regions depending on our budget. Hopefully the owners and Pasha will be sacking Mowbray and appoint a new manager or bringing in a change in football structure by end of the season. (even tho I would have done it now) I am hoping his initial weekly wage wasn't silly money and more performance and appearance based contract They have backed Mowbray financially in terms of wages and transfers fees and his long term plan. Mowbray has had 6 transfers windows and we haven't improved enough to warrant him staying as manager next season. I would have sack him, Venus and Lowe over the international break and appoint Damien Johnson as caretaker manager for rest of the season.

https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19191781.mowbray-outlines-key-factor-lewis-holtby-contract-talks/ It's like no one in rush at Rovers like Waggott and Mowbray to sort out what is going on with them and will they be offer a new contract. Looking like the 3 players I would deffo be offering contracts to in JRC, Nyambe and Rothwell wont be here next season unless they sign new contracts. So why wont they sign new contracts? Is it the contract terms being offered? Or Mowbray use of them within the team? Etc. Rothwell and JRC are represented by this agent https://www.murdocksportsgroup.co.uk/clients/ Also Travis has the same agent. Nyambe's agent is Midas Sports management

Wrong again as per usual. It was the player he wanted us to sign who I didnt want. I suggested us signing Crewe Left Back Pickering last summer. Clearly you missed that suggestion again! -

Do you know how many we have? Do you have names? Do you know how many scouts we have and who they are? From the Rovers official website Stuart Harvey who is Head of Club Talent Identification & Player Analysis Stewart Heppinstall who is Head of Performance Analysis Ben Smith Who is First Team Performance Analyst Rachel Hindle Who is First Team Performance Analyst I agree on the Gallagher part. Not sure on Rhodes tbh I would like to know why Mowbray wanted to sign Ayala and why the club allow him to sign him based on his fitness and injury record? Also did the Club scouting, recruitment and data analysis department recommend signing Pears or Ayala or Douglas? or did they recommend other signings and who was they? -
My apologise. I wasn't worry about not winning the game cos of our team and faith in them

Needs to part the first team squad next season

Do you not think we would have decent budget to improve the team overall and good replacement for Armstrong if we sold him? I do understand your point about improve team and getting more goals from our wide players and midfield. How much would Peterborough sell him for? -
I didnt. But when you put everything into context I think Buttler has enough credit in the bank. At least we have live cricket despite the virus
-
Stokes was outstanding. And no I am not concerned about Buttler. Everyone as an off day

chaddyrovers replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
No its not a swing as it was always a possibly he would be here next season since he is contract for next season. Despite my own views on the manager situation. Of course it more than likely based on Armstrong on him leaving Blackpool manager has said he not for sale Is Paul Mullin more of a target man type of striker? Do you have any more info on him? If Mowbray did leave and if We appoint Alex Neil for an example I wonder if he target Norwich's striker Jordan Hugill. Good player and not playing at Norwich. But more clubs in the current climate will be using data analysis and Wyscout. Do you accept? especially with Club scouts not allow to travel due to covid restrictions so much more focus on Data Analysis and Video analysis using Wyscout -

It's a possibility given that he has another 12 left on his contract. Looks like Mowbray's future will be discuss by owners at end of the season review You know my view on the manager situation so why asked me that sort of questions. -

Looking at the out of contract Championship striker list one name on there I think Mowbray will look at and that is Boro's striker Ashley Fletcher..
