He’s not worked out how I wanted, when the balance of ‘he’s been awful today’ to ‘actually maybe there’s something there when it clicks’ was more like 70/30 I was thinking we had a real chance of getting the most out of him. Sadly that balance is now more like 90/10 (being kind), when he’s good he’s really good but it seems more and more a case of his physicality working rather than much more.

He’s clearly not a ‘waste of space’ at worst he’s a poor forward that bagged a few goals and assists. Admittedly he’s been bad more than good and exclusively bad so far this season (and I’d say since the manager came in) I’ve said all summer I expected him to go so not too surprising but would rather we had another option to replace him rather than nobody, as I still think chasing a game he can be an option with Millers long throw

I think it started when premier league teams like Chelsea and City would have full teams of people out on loan, for us it seems more of a made up jobs for the boys / appease the fans role
