  1. Jason Lowe Mk II. Manager's pet. Son-in-law material. He's certainly not being kept for footballing reasons. There must be a lad in the U23s who can do the same job for half the wage.
  2. Wouldn't even keep Bennett as backup to be honest. Must be lads in the U23s who can run around and tub thump on Twitter.
  3. The treatment of Harrison Reed pretty much sums up Mowbray's philosophy. A tidy little terrier of a player. Wasn't trusted to play centre-midfield by Mowbray as apparently he needed to learn the game from the mighty Richie Smallwood. Plays centrally at Fulham and they've secured playoff contention. Laughable.
  4. Have we forgiven him for kissing the Chelsea badge at Ewood? What was that all about?
  5. Think you've been extremely generous with Holtby.
  6. Is that why no one has a f****** clue what they're doing?
  7. And we looked shite in that Wigan game before Dack got injured.
  8. Mowbray has lot the plot. He has the concept of a system but no idea how to implement it. He arbitrarily spent £12m on two strikers that he can barely shoehorn into the team. Not to mention signing an out-and-out winger like Harry Chapman for a team that doesn't want to play with wingers. I don't see a team hungry for success. They churn out all the right soundbites to the media but when it comes to the crunch most of them don't look assed win, lose or draw. It's far too cushy down Brockhall and that comes from the top. And I'm not necessarily talking about Mowbray.
  9. We didn't look much better with Dack, tbh.
  10. Mowbray is just collecting his retirement fund. He doesn't give a monkey's if we go up or not.
  11. Gallagher is basically a poor man's Franco Di Santo... or is that too harsh on Franky?
  12. Samuel will definitely be kept on. The argument we should keep him as he's done more than Gallagher and Brereton is risible.
  13. Again, just like under Bowyer. Two unambitious, safety-first managers who have fostered a holiday camp environment.
  14. I think you know exactly what my point is. We stuck with Bowyer too long. Everyone kept harping on about stability etc. but ultimately it got us nowhere other than League One. Just like Bowyer, the fans have given Mowbray diplomatic immunity because they’re afraid of the alternative. Even though Mowbray was hired by Venky’s in the first place.
  15. After Mr Stability blew our best shot of promotion and we had to sell off our playing assets.
  16. Saying he’s the most successful manager since Big Sam is like saying he’s the tallest midget in the room. I seem to remember a parallel roughly five years ago, when similar posters wanted to stick with a “stable” manager. How did that turn out?
  17. 15th to 12th is “progress” “wHo wOuLd rEpLaCe hIm?” There you go. Saved a few posters the trouble.
  18. To be fair, have we spent much on anything apart than on strikers?
  19. I think Scott Dann was the only defender they have ever "splashed out" on but even that fee was less than reported.
  20. We can't keep looking up at the top six. This lot will get a nose bleed. Normal service resumed.
  21. If you mean Mowbray, it was actually Bowyer who decided to let O'Connell leave.
  22. Don't think so. Nelsen had already left by the time Shebby rocked up. I think @AllRoverAsia was right and it's everyone's favourite programme seller.
